“This was our first time eating here. Great southern food. The staff is extremely friendly and easy to navigate with the different choices. I had the vegetable plate and my husband had the grilled pork chops. “Some of the best smoked chicken I've ever had. The slaw and stew were so good. The hot sauce was perfect: just the right amount of kick, and you can still taste your food. And the service was amazing. They were all cheerful and hospitable. This place is a gem!“

“First time here..Cafeteria style, which is fine. My veggies, mashed potatoes and fried green tomatoes was very good. My fried chicken breast was a little dry. Don't know if no brining or overcooked but the flavor was good.I will come back.“

“Customer service is always great. The chicken tenders have shrunk a lot. Still super yummy. Not the same huge ones they used to have. Was also told I wasn’t allowed to tip with my card on a Togo order. :( The employees aren’t supposed to accept it anymore? I don’t like that one bit. So if you want to tip for your Togo order bring cash! Everyone now a days needs all they can get. Especially in little ole comerKid-friendliness: They have ice cream !!! And delicious desserts!!!“

“I thought the food was very good and absolutely something you will enjoy if you are a local. I would suggest a more coherent theme for the restaurant though to help create an atmosphere. There are currently at least six different themes all mixed together and it makes the place feel cluttered. Also all the signs posting house rules would feel less unwelcoming if compiled into a single document placed in several locations in the restaurant. The way they are currently all over makes it feel like a no fun zone.“

“The Roy never fails to please. Jennifer and her staff always have great breakfast and lunch menus.My favorite breakfast is the three egg omelet with biscuit and grits. The meat and 3 is always good for lunch and the strat—o-burger is great.“

“It's a good older small town diner. The food is very good and reasonably priced the chili cheese dog and burgers are delicious. I stopped by one time and tried it and I love it the service is impeccable and the food is delicious I try to stop by any time I'm passing by“
