“Good atmosphere friendly staff. Food was awesome. Prices are fair.Parking: Big shopping center parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Staff speaks to everyone and they have a good kids menuWheelchair accessibility: Yes, they have wheel chair access.”
“WHAT A FIND in downtown Royston y’all! If you haven’t given this place a try you owe it to yourself to stop by. I was driving through and saw some very happy looking customers snacking on some pretty spectacular looking yummies so I HAD to make a pit stop. Boy am I glad I did. This place hits all the boxes for meClean, pleasant and inviting environment coupled with great fare and interesting decor. But honestly in this day and time of “no service” service, Holly was a breath of fresh air What a delight to meet someone so truly happy in their roleWhomever hired her…. Smart move. I will be back for both, your goodies and to see such friendly staff”
“We went here for the first time today and we were not disappointed. The biclscuits are huge, hot, fresh and delicious. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly. Although we got ours to go, the dining room was super clean and tidy. 10/10 recommend and we will definitely be back!”
“The food is very very good. You get your monies worth. We love the drive thru window. It has a large menu that you can see before you get to the window. They have kids plates. The smell coming thru the window will make you hungry. We take our plates down to Victoria Bryant State Park and eat. Nature and good food. Who could ask for anything else?”
“We stop in almost every morning after we clock out of 3rd shift job and the staff there is amazing. They know us by voice are absolutely outstanding with the service and treat you like family.”
“Quaint old-timey hardware store changed into a restaurant. Cool decorations. It is a bit noisy because of the reflective wall treatments. Friendly staff, quick service even though busy.Definitely recommend the strawberry cobbler!Parking: Free Street parking readily available. Not the frustrating paid parking vendor in Royston”
“This is our favorite Mexican food restaurant in Hartwell. You are always warmly greeted when you walk in the door. The employees all work together in order to ensure great service. The food is consistently great and the portion size is large. The margaritas are also awesome. What more could you want from a Mexican restaurant? They've also recently added some beautiful painted murals to the walls. There are plenty of booths and tables both in the dining room and in the bar area. They also have a room at the back for a larger group. Come in. You'll be glad you did.”
“The man is an amazing baker and so is Emma that is there every Saturday. I am so addicted. You can order the day before to ensure you get what you want, as they sell out every time. So good. You will be addicted too! Order anything, you will love it. ❤️”
“I like this place. It's a small-town restaurant. I always get great service and the food always comes out right. Waiters are always friendly. The only flaw I can find is the salsa is reminiscent of marinara sauce.Kid-friendliness: It's a safe area.”
“Owner an family are friendly an the bisquit are big an delicious. Very generous amounts of bacon, eggs, ham etc on each bisquit. Only negative is the price.Parking: Plentiful parkingKid-friendliness: They give toysWheelchair accessibility: Have ramps for wc acess”
“Customer service is always great. The chicken tenders have shrunk a lot. Still super yummy. Not the same huge ones they used to have. Was also told I wasn’t allowed to tip with my card on a Togo order. :( The employees aren’t supposed to accept it anymore? I don’t like that one bit. So if you want to tip for your Togo order bring cash! Everyone now a days needs all they can get. Especially in little ole comerKid-friendliness: They have ice cream !!! And delicious desserts!!!”
“Enjoyed the Food but nothing for my husband to eat tho they did try to accommodate but the chicken was to tough to eat so he only had french fries which isn't good for a diabetic! So please put Hamburgers on your meno so we can keep coming... Also the fish smell when you walk in is horrific so maybe an air freshener at the door tho I know your specialty is Sushi but it wasn't a very good first Impression of Fishy smell...”
“Doc's Bar in Canon. This place is the real thing. Free pool tables. Best barbeque in the South outback on Saturdays from 11 am to 8 pm. I was there last weekend and asked them who they were rooting for, Michigan or OSU, and they said they only care about the Dawgs. No disrespect to Southern Hart Brewing Company, but this is a real local bar, with great barbeque, pool tables and real genuine down to earth local folks and UGA fans.Doc’s Bar/Cheek’s Stew Life BBQ4195 GA-17, Canon, GA 30520https://maps.app.goo.gl/Q8k8dtddRCRYBsk69”
“We had very good customer service. The owner was kind when answering our questions about the food and menu. The Food was made to order. Hot and fresh. Burgers were good, juicy, without being a sloppy mess to eat. The chicken fingers are big and juicy with a great breading for the outside. Plenty of choices for dipping sauce. Overall a nice experience. Food is reasonably priced.Parking: Parking is directly in front of the building.”
“After 3 years of driving by this place I finally stopped in today .We ordered a pork bbq plate and a beef brisket plate. The sides we chose were loaded baked potatoes, slaw ,and stew which were all very good. The pulled pork was adequate and average. Not bad but not great.. The 3 table sauces were ok but lacked distinct variation of flavors.. I had read many reviews of the delicious brisket served here . I've cooked 500 + briskets but today I 'm positive I was served bland roast beef. No smoke,no bark,no nothing A disappointment but it was edible. With the cost of brisket these days it is difficult for restaurants to keep on the menu. Keri Ann ,our server ,was very pleasant and attentive. We will certainly dine here again.”
“One of the best AND coolest coffee spots in all of Georgia.Wonderful people and wonderful coffee with all the vibe you could ever want. And they've recently added some next level pastries and biscuits. This wont be a best kept secret for long. Don't let the location fool you. Comer is where its at!Parking: plenty of FREE parking!Wheelchair accessibility: easily wheelchair accessible. 100%”
“This is a good, solid and friendly "hometown diner" type of restaurant. We were happy to find this spot and have returned a few times. Would gladly recommend this restaurant to any hungry traveler in the Royston region.”
“The place is so good for eating that there is always a crowd with a long line. It is a smaller buffet but it packs a big punch on the tummy, yum yum. The wait staff was very pleasant and the customers were cordial to each other. We'll be back that's for sure even though it's 45 mi one way, it's worth it. Wheelchair accessibility is a little crowded in the line but otherwise it's all right. People were very courteous and helpful. Make room for the stranger at your table and share the space when needed.Parking: Don't take up a double space because a lot of cars are going to be here shortly and everybody needs a chance to eat. If y'all alternate driving into or backing into a parking spot it'll make it easier for access. 3 ft spacing is plenty.Wheelchair accessibility: If you see a van with handicap stickers give it a wide girth. There is no brakes on electric wheelchairs so beware, 4 ft distance should be your minimum. These wheelchairs weigh almost 500 lb by themselves without a person in them their foot crushers!”
“I know what you’re thinking, “the only restaurant open late…they must not care about the quality or food…”. No, you’re wrong. Well, maybe you aren’t, but I was. This joint is great. The staff is attentive, food is good, and the atmosphere and patrons are friendly and happy. Great little gem. Worth stopping in to sample different Mexican dishes.”
“Very well stocked with a wide variety of baked goods as well as spices, gravy mixes, jellies, European butters and more. The low prices are amazing! Store is clean and well organized. Customer service is exceptional. I will return again and again.”
“There is one lady with blonde hair that works in here.... She is always stuck by herself. She has yet to not be friendly and did her job as if she had 10 people to help her out. Super nice and never rushes you.”
“I met Salvadore that is one of the owners when I first walked in. Very Very nice guy. He was very attentive making sure I was good. I'm so glad I moved to Comer. Highly recommend!!”
“Amazing portions, decent staff, good food! I got the popcorn shrimp plate and it was LOADED I couldn’t even hold it with one hand!! I was able to eat on it all day from lunch time to dinner.”
“Food is always very good here, Dining room & restrooms always clean. Fast, friendly service from all employees except the older, heavy set man with gray hair that wears a cap - he's been a little rude on two occasions so now I always hope he's not there when we go. Four stars on service because of him. Everything & everyone else have been great experiences. Favorite Wendy's!”
“My order had been overlooked BUT the 2 ladies who were there jumped right in and began making it. It WAS A PRETTY BIG ORDER. They never complained it was AWESOME!!!!”
“The lady at the drive thru was very friendly and made sure our order was perfect. Food was fresh and delicious and the burgers were bigger than I expected so it was very filling!”
“Fan-flippin-tastic buffet!! The makeover was definitely worth it! The food was scrumptious, with MUCH to choose from, including Low Country Boil and crab legs!! WillDefinitely be back many times!! I haven’t seen a buffet like this without going to Athens or Anderson. Nice to have something this good, this close!!!”
“It was the first time in a long time that my order was perfect. The 2 lane thing gets lost on people, because they all want to be first, even though it's left, right, left right, not left, left, HONK!!!, when you take your rightful place in line.I guess balance must be achieved. Great food and service, with a smattering of selfish people, while I waited. Will have to go in and sit down next time to see how nice it is.Cheers!”
“This was our first time eating here. Great southern food. The staff is extremely friendly and easy to navigate with the different choices. I had the vegetable plate and my husband had the grilled pork chops. Truly good food.Parking: There’s parking on both sides of the restaurantKid-friendliness: Yes kiddos are welcome here with a kid menuWheelchair accessibility: Even the bathroom is easy to navigate”
