“Doc's Bar in Canon. This place is the real thing. Free pool tables. Best barbeque in the South outback on Saturdays from 11 am to 8 pm. “WHAT A FIND in downtown Royston y’all! If you haven’t given this place a try you owe it to yourself to stop by. I was driving through and saw some very happy looking customers snacking on some pretty spectacular looking yummies so I HAD to make a pit stop. Boy am I glad I did. This place hits all the boxes for meClean,pleasant and inviting environment coupled with great fare and interesting decor. “The food is very very good. You get your monies worth. We love the drive thru window. It has a large menu that you can see before you get to the window. They have kids plates. The smell coming thru the window will make you hungry. We take our plates down to Victoria Bryant State Park and eat. Nature and good food. Who could ask for anything else?”

“This is our favorite Mexican food restaurant in Hartwell. You are always warmly greeted when you walk in the door. The employees all work together in order to ensure great service. The food is consistently great and the portion size is large. The margaritas are also awesome. What more could you want from a Mexican restaurant?They've also recently added some beautiful painted murals to the walls. There are plenty of booths and tables both in the dining room and in the bar area. They also have a room at the back for a larger group. Come in. You'll be glad you did.”

“My kids and I went to Korean Barbecue and it was AMAZING!! The food was spectacular, our waitress was the sweetest most attentive young lady, we just loved her. The lady that brought out the sides was so kind and patient, she explained what everything was and gave us suggestions on delicious combinations to try with the flavors. There was SO MUCH food. “The place is so good for eating that there is always a crowd with a long line. It is a smaller buffet but it packs a big punch on the tummy, yum yum. The wait staff was very pleasant and the customers were cordial to each other. We'll be back that's for sure even though it's 45 mi one way, it's worth it. Wheelchair accessibility is a little crowded in the line but otherwise it's all right. People were very courteous and helpful. Make room for the stranger at your table and share the space when needed.Parking: Don't take up a double space because a lot of cars are going to be here shortly and everybody needs a chance to eat. If y'all alternate driving into or backing into a parking spot it'll make it easier for access. 3 ft spacing is plenty.Wheelchair accessibility: If you see a van with handicap stickers give it a wide girth. There is no brakes on electric wheelchairs so beware, 4 ft distance should be your minimum. These wheelchairs weigh almost 500 lb by themselves without a person in them their foot crushers!”

“After 3 years of driving by this place I finally stopped in today .We ordered a pork bbq plate and a beef brisket plate. The sides we chose were loaded baked potatoes,slaw ,and stew which were all very good. The pulled pork was adequate and average. Not bad but not great.. The 3 table sauces were ok but lacked distinct variation of flavors.. I had read many reviews of the delicious brisket served here . I've cooked 500 + briskets but today I 'm positive I was served bland roast beef. No smoke,no bark,no nothing A disappointment but it was edible. With the cost of brisket these days it is difficult for restaurants to keep on the menu. Keri Ann ,our server ,was very pleasant and attentive. We will certainly dine here again.”

“Was following my GPS from Richard Russell park to Lawrenceville when I stopped in in search of a cold beer. Saw the big signs outside for "Krunchy chicken" and, not having lunch yet, checked it out. Asked the lady for a breast and an order of potato wedges, while I checked on the beer. No luck on the beer. Being in deep, rural, Georgia, probably the whole county was dry.Anyway paid only 6 bucks for a very large breast, and a big, fist-full of wedges, and was on my way. The chicken was tender and moist inside, and crispy-crunchy on the outside. Excellent! The potato wedges were also hot and lightly crispy , and seasoned perfectly.Couldn't stop eating them on the ride home. Highly recommend to all!”
