Not only did she make it for me in such short notice, she absolutely outdid herself with the train decor!! My son is OBSESSED with all things train, and he LOVED this cake! “Great ice cream shop located in Mulberry Plaza. Great place for sweets including ice cream or fresh baked cookies. There are a number of choices to mix into your choice of ice cream base flavor including brownies, chocolate chips, heath and Reese’s cup pieces. If you have a sweet craving but ice cream won’t hit the spot, then perhaps fresh baked cookies will do it. The day I was there they had oatmeal raisin, chocolate chip and a to die for chocolate cookie that was scrumptious!“
“It's a great little store. The ice cream really is like homemade. The cookies are a nice treat. You can grab a giant cookie for a silly surprise on a whim, but they do sell put often. It's better to order one in advance or anticipate to wait a quick 40 plus minutes. Obviously, you can order a special holiday cookie for a special occasion. The truck outside, I didn't ask, looks like a catering treat for any party.“
“I don't get here near as often as I'd like, but visiting Mela's Bakery is always such a treat. There's unique food I can only get here - the empanadas are a MUST, and of course all the bakery items are fantastic and delicious. There's a nice little seating area and it's bright and homey to sit in and enjoy your items. My kids are always thrilled to go because they get special attention. I think this place is a real gem in Winder and I'm thrilled it's gotten the business it needs to keep going! Today my husband ran to get us the special, Cachapas, which was absolutely phenomenal. So delicious, so flavorful! I love that there's a special exclusive item every now and then.“
