“Super cute establishment with fun/eclectic decor! The bartenders are incredibly kind and helpful. Having only visited one time prior with minimal conversation, the bartenders not only remembered us, but what we got to drink and even complimented my partner’s specific outfit from the last visit! A very welcoming vibe, lgbtq+ friendly, and lots of fun games! A must visit for a relaxing night out in Brunswick for sure.“

“The atmosphere is nice, great variety of food, and our waitress Holly was wonderful in explaining the menu and specials.“
“Pool, reasonable drinks served with a smile and a kick as they go down. Karaoke nights are always a treat with singers ranging from Wow you're good to wow you're brave lol. Lottery machines available to those interested. The only draw back is there is no food but if you want to pay for Uber eats you can have it delivered. Great local tavern. None better in Brunswick Ga.“

“Great food. Get there early. This place gets packed. The red snapper with jalapeno cream sauce was very tasty. It was perfectly cooked. Crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. The crab cakes were really good. Blackened shrimp was the best I had all week. The special was a salmon in a lemon cream sauce. My kid really liked it and it was a really nice portion. The salad and bread was really good. The cinnamon butter that comes with it was awesome. We always visit Crabdaddy's when vacationing in SSI. You can make reservations in advance, too.“

“Dropped by on a short day on Jeckyll Island after smelling it on a bike ride! The servers were all very kind and our main sever John did a wonderful job. He and the rest of the staff were very friendly and seemed happy to welcome everyone visiting to the island. I order the spinach salad with blackened chicken and fell in love with the candied walnuts. My finance got a grilled chicken sandwich and raved about the quality of the chicken. Both his and my chicken were juicy and seasoned very well. A great place to grab a bite if you’re on the island!“

“The service was 100% better (at the bar) than Crabdaddys. There is no comparison!! The food is different at both restaurants, but I would go back to Crabtrap if sitting at the bar. The Crab Soup was also100% better at Crabtrap. At least you will be waited on and even acknowledge when sitting at the bar.“

“We had a wonderful dinner at 80 Ocean. The gluten-free menu is excellent, and they’re very accommodating—happy to modify dishes if needed. I had a side salad and the redfish, which came with creamed corn and mushrooms. Everything was flavorful and beautifully prepared. We also shared the gluten-free meatballs and GF rolls—both were fantastic!
My husband ordered the crab cakes (not gluten-free) and the cream cheese mashed potatoes, which he really enjoyed.
The ambiance was lovely, especially with the outdoor seating near the pool area we were just inside the doors in a small nook that was quaint. A special shoutout to the kind young man opening the front door—he was a delight. We ended up having a great conversation with him while waiting for our hotel shuttle, and it meant a lot, especially since he was working on the 4th of July.
Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and dietary needs, though he seemed a bit rushed and not overly friendly. It was a busy holiday, so we completely understand and appreciate the service regardless.
Highly recommend 80 Ocean for a relaxing and accommodating dining experience on Jekyll Island.“

“For the exception of ruining my Anniversary celebration that I had planned, everything else was okay. The food was good! Drinks were just strong enough and not just watered down! View was stunning! Service was average, I had called days in advance to reserve indoor window seating to celebrate our Anniversary. I had planned a whole “thing” I was going to do near the stunning view of the window for the wife. When we arrived they pulled our information and one lady asked us “indoor or outdoor?” The other hostess told her the system said “indoor with window seating” and gave her a look of disappointment. As they walked me to my sitting area it was not window seating and table was wobbly. I was unable to do my whole “thing” I had planned and just started off the evening not on a good start, but drinks made up for it 🤷♂️😒“

“Although we have been regulars at Reids for the past few years (with a strong attempt at never missing a Sunday dinner!) they really outdid themselves during my 40th birthday! you can always count on their great food, amazing atmosphere, and awesome staff that works on ensuring your whole party finds the experience memorable and that the staff is part of our family. We are moving down to Jacksonville at the end of the month, yet have already made plans to come back routinely for the Reids experience! If you haven't been there yet, it's a must go!“
