Wheelchair accessibility: Though there is not an actual ramp to enter it is easily handled. Our cashier & hostess had one of the several waiters find a table to accommodate my wheelchair with my leg being out raised out front of it and having to be wheeled by my husband due to a broken elbow...and then she later came by our table, to see if I would like anything, that she was happy to get it for me. Since it is a buffet it is a little tight but we managed perfectly and we've only been doing it for a week...”

“This is a to go food service. They do have a few tables outside. The food is so good. They serve catfish and mullet dinners that are delicious. Also have a Seafood platter, oyster and shrimp dinners. The fried chicken is wonderful too. Also have others dinners too.”

“The absolute BEST hidden secret is The Catfish Shack! It is locally owned and operated by two of the NICEST, FRIENDLINESS couple ever known! As for the menu, O. M. G. what GREAT FOOD, everything from (of course) Catfish, burgers, hamburger steaks, shrimp and THE BEST Cheese Grits you’ll EVER eat! Just about everything on the menu is cooked when you order, like the catfish and burgers and such, so be prepared to wait for a few minutes for your order. I just moved back to Newton, and you can bet that I will be at The Catfish Shack most weekends. LOVE THIS PLACE, and you will too!”

“I have never had a bad experience at this place. I have found if you treat people with patience and be kind you will enjoy it also, I've been in there when it's busy and when it's slow. I've always been treated good. I love the breakfasts. They are always hot and good, I went through the drive thru yesterday about 730 pm. I ordered the number 9 and let me tell you that was the best burger I've ever had, It was so juicy and well put together. Cudo's to the cook. I usually go inside to eat but I'm semi crippled so its hard for me now. When I do go insde those ladies are so kind and helpful to me. They will even tell me to go and sit down and they bring the food to me. As I said before, Use kindness and patience when they are busy. Thanks to all of you at Hardees Pelham”
