El Antojo Chapin is a true hidden gem in Canton. The restaurant offers a nice, open, and attractive dining area with a spacious but cozy layout, featuring Guatemalan textiles as tablecloths. The atmosphere makes guests feel right at home with good vibes.
The authentic Guatemalan food is outstanding and amazing. Specific dishes praised include the pupusas packed with flavor, chuchitos with an authentic homemade taste, and a rich, hearty, and comforting caldo de res. The Churrasco, a thin grilled steak, is incredibly flavorful, tender, and a winner. Sides like the plantains and black beans are also delicious. Meals are fresh with lots of good vegetables, offering a healthy and delicious option. The fresh strawberry juice is a perfect, refreshing, and absolutely delicious drink.
The service is excellent, welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Many guests state they will be back again and again to try more of the menu, considering it definitely worth a visit.
