The overall experience was great with Service and the Atmosphere was breath taking. The food was exceptional except the desserts were a little dis tasteful, but, I had eaten so much it could be my palate. “We recently dined here for dinner after finding this place on Instagram. I can’t believe it took us four years to find this place and it was right around the corner. It was a Friday night and we didn’t need a reservation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The chef even came from the kitchen to check on everybody dining in the establishment. I highly recommend the fried shrimp, fried Lobster, cheese grits, the Mac & cheese, fried chicken entree, the appetizer chicken wings. and all of the salad options. All of the food was high-quality and you can tell that stuff was made fresh with no shortcuts (NO CANs at the establishment). This is rare to find these days in this economy. The food will take some time to come, but that is because everything is prepared fresh so greatness takes time and it is well worth the wait. Trust me. Everything was very tasty on the menu and we will definitely return. This is a perfect place if you want some soul food in the Roswell/Alpharetta/John’s Creek area and there’s plenty of upfront parking. This is a family, friendly establishment and they welcome everyone. I highly recommend coming here and we will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for the tasty high quality dinner!“

“I attended my nephews wedding here and it was amazing. The staff was awesome. Attentive. And, very knowledgeable. The manager Bret recommended numerous drinks and drink specials. He made the night for us. I live in Maryland but will definitely be back! Make sure you stop in for good food and drinks!!!“

“My friend girl brought me to this restaurant for my birthday. I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. When I left this restaurant I took a picture and posted on Facebook, telling everybody I know about this fabulous time at this place and they got to try it out. The service, and my waiter was a 10 .plus“

Been sitting for at least 10 min without any one to come over ask another server twice who work in this section
Restaurants was half empty at 8 pm.
Once Olivia showed up couldn't have more of a nasty attitude and could care less about anything!!!
This is the first time that we had bad experience at the vortex and I hope it will be addressed.“

“I don't get out much but my mom really wanted us to go out. I choose this place because of the menu and great reviews. I didn't have high hopes. not was I wrong. this place is absolutely awesome. The atmosphere, the good food, the great drinks, and the exceptional service (shout out to Olga), was beyond what I was expecting. I can't lie and say I will be a regular (seriously I don't get out much), but this place will be on my rotation when I do go out.“

“Came for lunch, they were very slow during lunch on the day we came. But we sat outside in the beautiful sunshine and had a delicious lunch. Smashed burger and fries was delicious also had the beer battered chicken strips, also great! At night they have more bar activity’s/karaoke going on, but during lunch very low key relaxed family friendly atmosphere. Service, food, and atmosphere great!“

“My boyfriend and I just ate here for the first time today. We live an hour away and wanted to try something new since we were in the area. The food was AMAZING! We had edamame for an appetizer, my boyfriend had a mushroom quesadilla and I had a delicious Buffalo shrimp salad. Only disappointment was the service from the bartender. We had to ask if we could order, we had to ask for refills, and she never did a check back on the food; so we had to ask for her attention about a question I had concerning my salad dressing. Other customers sitting down had to do the same for service. This was all because she was on her tablet reading. So anytime we interrupted her it was because she was reading from her tablet. This was a disappointment but will try again because of the food quality and nice atmosphere.“

“I stop in here for lunch once a week. The staff remembers me, the food is great and it comes out quick. I like the grilled chicken sandwich.

They have several TVs so I am able catch up on news and sports while I am there.

“We're staying at the Hyatt House while undergoing a medical procedure at Northside Hospital across the street so we decided to have dinner at H Bar. Augyst was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The Korean Street Tacos were absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed the chicken quesadilla and the salsa wasn't spicy at all. They offer a wide variety of things to eat as well as desserts, which we didn't partake in. We definitely eat there and intend on doing so tomorrow.“

“We surprised Loyal Tavern with a pop-up rehearsal dinner last Friday night. 30 weary travelers in town for our wedding had the best experience. We never waited on drinks, water, or food. “The bar is great--good service, neighborhood feel. If you get a table, you order from the bartender & someone will bring the food out. If you need silverware or condiments, etc, either quickly catch the person who drops it off or hunt it down yourself. The wings are ok. Onion rings are heavily battered-- go with the tater tots. “my family and i came friday night and sat in the restaurant around 9:20pm, which was pretty close to the closing time (10pm). luckily, our server was very attentive and friendly! she got us seated right away and was helpful.

the food came out around 9:45pm, but we were able to still eat peacefully and not be rushed. we got the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer; i think it was made with cream cheese and the pita chips were warm!

the salmon was well cooked and flavorful! the broccoli had a somewhat strong garlic taste, but it was still delicious! the mac and cheese was also good, the breadcrumbs gave it a nice touch! my family also enjoyed their dishes!

The bar was standing room only! Too packed for my comfort level.
Great 80's/90's music. Dance floor was packed the entire time I was there. Left around midnight.

“We got there at 1am on the Sunday before memorial day and The food was good. I had the Beef ribs tips and fries, and my wife had lemon pepper wings and fries, we very much enjoyed it. It was my first time there and I was thoroughly impressed with the thier cleanliness and attentive service. It was a excellent experience“
