I know, you’re thinking, “Really? Bangladeshi food?” I thought the same thing. Then I went to Ruchi and it was life changing. Some of the most amazing flavors I’ve ever had! And the service is outstanding. The wonderful folks at Ruchi truly care about your experience and will help you navigate the menu, making suggestions based on your preferences, including dietary needs! (my wife has Celiac, and they have many gluten free dishes, and others they have modified for us.) There is something for everyone, except perhaps the pickiest. Our kids love it! “This place is such a hidden gem. If you like Indian food, you will like Bangladeshi food. They have their differences, but are quite similar. The food is incredible. The naan is fantastic. The tikka moshola is the most delicious curry I have ever tasted. Their mango lassi's are creamy and delicious. It's all great. The staff is also extremely friendly. This place is my favorite restaurant.“

“Probably the best Bengali restaurant in ATL at this moment. We went there for iftar. They have different iftar platter everyday. We had the chicken tikka and beef adana with yellow rice which was the iftar platter that day. That chicken tikka was something different and special. Not your regular chicken tikka. It had this smoky flavour and tasted really good. Tried smash burger and loaded chicken fries from the regular menu which was also too good. I’d say this is my go to halal burger spot from now on. Also tried their mint zeera drink which was very refreshing. Staff were awesome and very friendly. Top notch service. Very clean restaurant. Highly recommend.“

“Had lunch here today and it was amazing ! The Mac & Cheese was fabulous and the staff is very attentive. The chocolate chip cookies are like no other I’ve ever tasted ! They’re open Fri, Sat & Sun this week and adding Thursday next week. A fabulous addition to the Alpharetta food scene for sure! The patio is beautiful too. Highly recommend!“

“Well well... This restaurant remind me another restaurant call Tempoe Dulu they closed 6 years ago prolly. But now part the owner reopen again as Ibu's Kitchen. Great food, great service and friendly. My suggestion if they were busy. Just be patient to get your food. Get some appetizers first. I've been back here I guess 3 times already. I love their Nasi Padang, Mie Ayam, Shumai, spicy mackerel / sambal ikan tongkol, es teler, es cendol! Definitely will try other on menus. Congratulations again to the owners! Cheers! “We got the dinner for 2 and WOW at the amount of food we got. The service was absolutely phenomenal and very thoughtful. When we asked for to go boxes our server thought out what we had left and selected perfect containers for everything. We enjoy hot food, we got the hot level of spice and it was perfect. I would not have gone hotter. Even the water was good! We will 100% be back. Unfortunately it is not letting me add the pictures, but HIGHLY recommend.“

The only criticism I could give would be for the fried rice as it was still good but could be a bit better. Still highly recommended especially if you’re looking for Halal food!“

“AMAZING STAFF! AMAZING SERVICE!!! I catered from them for the last day of my 4-day wedding and the experience leading up to the day of was smooth and very accommodating! William was great in working with my budget and the items I wanted as well as the timeframe to have the order ready. The morning of, there was some confusion on our end and we hit panic mode calling the restaurant thinking we were missing a whole tray. Lisa was absolutely a God-sent! She looked everywhere and checked with everyone to make sure the trays all left and even then started preparing another tray just in case. She could've easily said we sent it all and we're busy now. Her confidence and helpful nature saved the day! I would recommend working with this location on all your catering orders - they make it so easy and I don't even have to mention - THE FOOD IS A HIT WITH EVERYONE!!!!!“

“Hands down the best African food in town! You have to try the Beef Suya—it’s perfectly spiced and incredibly tender. The Jollof Rice is also fantastic. Just a heads up: the portions are massive (mostly catering sizes), so you definitely get your money's worth. I spent about $40, but it was enough food to feed a small army. 5 stars!“

There were so many good halal options to choose from, but I ended up going with my all time favorite the chicken sandwich. It was SO delicious and worthwhile. “I’m a regular at jays. Sometimes we order and sometimes we go over at their Decatur location. I have lovely memories at Jays. They have never missed with their food so far. I often get the stacker, but I’ve tried their burgers and ordered the ceaser salad wrap today (which I’m eagerly waiting for). I love jays, all of their food hits the spot every time! The lady at the counter in hijab was so nice, I changed my order last minute and she was so sweet! 😂I wish them the very best! “Really enjoyed the pizza here. The crust was perfectly baked, crispy outside and soft inside, and the toppings tasted fresh and flavorful. The cheese was melted just right and not greasy at all. You can tell they care about quality and preparation.

“We were passing through on the way home from our trip and stopped by because we saw online that they had fresh bread. The place is packed full of groceries, and we were so happy to pick up fresh bread when they opened up. Our only regret is not getting more!“

“My boyfriend and I stopped at the Forum to get food and decided on this place. Absolutely amazing service. Shoutout to Abdul because he was patient, explained the portion size for my Bhel (I wanted something filling but small) and he even brought my boyfriend’s meal to the table! We ended up buying a milky drink from the business just because of that. The food taste fresh and amazing too. We will DEFINITELY be back. Thank you again Abdul!“

“Excellent food and very well-prepared dishes. Every item we ordered was delicious.

This is the best restaurant we have visited in the U.S. The staff prepared each dish exactly according to the spice level we requested, which we greatly appreciated.

We do not eat very spicy food, and unlike many other South Indian restaurants in USA that tend to make dishes medium-spicy by default, they carefully followed our instructions and customized the food perfectly.

My kids absolutely loved the food as well, which is always a great sign. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!“

“Man this is one place I've been where I have yet to replicate the rice. Its like a reddish color with oil and I swear I cant get enough of it. I can just eat the rice with vegetables. Can't even remember exactly what I ordered but even though the food was great that rice was amazing. Make sure to get the white sauce. No dine in just a drive thru.“

“How have I not known about this place before?!?!? It is literally a block from our home. The restaurant is at the back right of the market (a great place to find hard-to-find foods).

I got a shawarma to go, which was delicious. They fixed it in no time at all, and the price was very wallet-friendly. It came with a small plastic container of a red sauce on the side. Spicy, but not too spicy for me.

A great experience and a real value. Will return to try out the rest of the menu.“

this place is one of the smaller stores that serve delightful Indian cuisine.

I came around 8pm for combo order of Butterchicken/8oz naan/ and simosa that was served with rice.
- the simosa was really cooled down or warm when I first bit into it, mine was not baked throughly well but i am not in distaste. The Butter chicken was a great choice for me as I rarely go out for Indian food, but this place is a gem, and has home feeling when you order there. The butter chicken was great, warm, and filling; however, I did not think the portion matched the price. (Their reviews don’t allow picture submissions, so I could not share the photos)

The staff was really nice and they had a slow night, but one of the ladies there took care of me and the food, as I ordered thru their website. She called me back and assured the comments on my order were understandable and that the kitchen can make the desired accommodations. There was much of the editing process in their naans as I wanted a garlic naan instead; however, thankfully for the lady who called she was able to offer me my selection of garlic naan (I offered to pay extra). I just didn’t want to order another garlic naan when I could I just edit my current naan to a garlic naan, in which she took care of me for that I thank her.

Sweet staff, they’ll take care of you! I offered to pay more for the naan but big thanks to her and the kitchen. A nice gesture like that I wouldn’t back away from adding extra gratuity.

I would definitely come back more often to try out their menu a bit more.

“No frills middle eastern and Indian food. Food is mid to decent (I had the chicken biryani) but portions are insane. For 12 bucks you get enough food for two people. If you're looking for cheap and non greasy food, I would check this place out!“
