“The restaurant was absolutely delicious with amazing service! We stayed in the dogwood tiny house and it was a perfect experience. We had an issue with the hot water and had someone there to help us within 15 minutes. HIGHLY recommend staying here!!”

The store has a great selection and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. As a bonus, they're dog-friendly - our pup Freyja felt right at home and even got some pets from the kind employees. “All I can say.....If you have not been yet you should go asap! We have spent many days with this family oriented restaurant/bar. The owners are the real deal....super honest, hardworking locals. My boyfriend didn't do the math correctly on the bill today...and the owner came and clarified it with him. It was to the benefit of the bar...and yet she came over and asked about it. I was a bartender for many years and never thought about an extra large tip. I'm just saying..you don't find that in this day and age. EVER. We will continue to frequent this place every week....and not just because the food is AMAZING and the service is great. They have a great selection of top shelf liquors and wine...and fantastic frozen drinks....Kel is a fantastic bartender...and its the only place that serves Kendall Jackson on the lake! We usually go by boat, but can be accessed by vehicle at La Prade's...plenty of spots for parking to grab a drink or food. Not enough stars to rate this establishment! Go Bill's!”

“Attic WE live in Highlands, NC but our kids live in GA. It is a wonderful drive there and back, but we always plan our trip with a lunch stop in Clarkesville, at the Attic Restaurant. Exposed brick walls, a nice bar and ALWAYS fresh foods: I almost always get special soup. We dine inside, but outside is lovely too! Love the waitstaff, the ownership, and even the guests are congenial. The town has cute shops, a great antiques shop and more. You never know where to go off the interstate, BUT the attic is worth the detour!”

“No one knows JUST how AMAZING the food is here because it's tied to a bowling alley. Let me just tell you..... It's some of the best food in Habersham County. The menu is as big as Texas. Don't know what to get? Go on a Tuesday and try a specialy cocktail by the best bartender ever. Start with an appetizer of spinach artichoke dip, the Greek salad will hit home. For a meal, hit the burger menu. ALL of them are to die for. Have fun, Eat happy. Much LoVE”

“We love Nancy and Shirley! It's almost that simple! That and the wonderful sandwiches they and the other employees make! Corporate makes them do this or that, some rules about where and when cheese goes on, and how to lay out the sandwich, but trust me, when the chips are down, they will make your sandwich YOUR WAY! And it will be awesome! My wife and I go every Friday night, it's our date night for each other, where we know we will get a nutritious meal and have some leftover for lunch the next day. The ladies always make what we like, and are attentive and caring. In fact, Ms Nancy is one of our oldest friends in Clarkesville, since we moved here five years ago. She was running the other location, and has had to work through thick and thin with less than honest employees costing her time and money. Since the new location, it's been better, and the whole environment has improved. They love what they do, and the food shows it! If you haven't eaten there, take a chance and give them credit for working all the time, for us, for better meals! Thanks so much to all the employees of downtown Clarkesville Subway! We love you and what you do for us!”

“I have dined at The Copper Pot many times, and somehow I have never tried the Gateway Grits…until today! Let me tell you, this is the best grit dish I have had in a very long time. I am very particular about my grits, and love that their grits are sourced locally from Nora Mill just down the road in Helen. I was looking for something that would warm me up on a cold January afternoon, and this hit the spot. It also helped that I had WONDERFUL service from Alex. She was very attentive, kind, and provided good conversation. Grateful to have wonderful eateries like The Copper Pot in my hometown!”

“The food is always good but the prices has gotten outrageous! I got the breakfast smash burger and I thought was the same as value menu. $11.99 for the burger and $3.59 for a glass of tea. All together over $16.00. I could have gotten a whopper and drink at Burger King cheaper than that. I would have gotten the regular smash burger on dollar menu if I had known that.”
