“Absolutely wonderful time staying in the Burton Cabin and eating at Bleu Canoe restaurant. The restaurant has a large dog friendly outdoor patio with magical string lights and big trees that provide the perfect outdoor ambiance. Food is outstanding and so unique to the region. You can tell that the quality of ingredients is high and that a lot of care goes into the preparation. Their stocks are homemade! Wednesdays is oyster grilling night and Thursdays is live music. A must visit restaurant when in the area or make it a weekend getaway with a stay in one of their historic cabins or tiny homes.”

“I stopped and picked up a order for dinner tonight. We have been wanting to try Wolf creek for awhile but every time I’m down that way is on a closed day. Our Son and family has been eating there for a long time and telling us how good it was! Well today we got to see what all the hype was all about ! And it sure didn’t disappoint ! Everything we got was so good ! Pulled pork, sliced pork, BBQ sandwich, Smoked sausage, fries, slaw, Okra, Tater tots. We will definitely be back ! And this is after driving 45 minutes home, can’t wait to go in and eat soon !”

“Attic WE live in Highlands, NC but our kids live in GA. It is a wonderful drive there and back, but we always plan our trip with a lunch stop in Clarkesville, at the Attic Restaurant. Exposed brick walls, a nice bar and ALWAYS fresh foods: I almost always get special soup. We dine inside, but outside is lovely too! Love the waitstaff, the ownership, and even the guests are congenial. The town has cute shops, a great antiques shop and more. You never know where to go off the interstate, BUT the attic is worth the detour!”

I love the ' coffee flight' with 4 hand picked large sampling of iced or hot teas and coffees.y favorite Lavender Honey coffee!!!! Did I forget to mention the delicious bakery treats too. “Not only was the staff INCREDIBLY helpful and welcoming, but the environment and atmosphere was extremely comfortable and inviting, with a vibe I’ve never really experienced before! To really top of off though, the drinks were so unique, tasty, and made with quality! I got the lavender lemonade and it was so balanced, and my sister’s customized chai latte was the best I’ve ever had! Amazing place! 💚✨”

“The food is always good but the prices has gotten outrageous! I got the breakfast smash burger and I thought was the same as value menu. $11.99 for the burger and $3.59 for a glass of tea. All together over $16.00. I could have gotten a whopper and drink at Burger King cheaper than that. I would have gotten the regular smash burger on dollar menu if I had known that.”

“Caesar salad: very good and the croutons are incredible. Also, the best Caesar dressing I’ve ever had. Cuban sandwich: great flavors, bread made in house, what is there to complain about? Squash Casserole: the squash is cooked to perfection and it tasted amazing. Bees Knees: shut up it’s so good and it paired perfectly with my dessert. Crème Brûlée: sweet, light, good crunch but not too much crunch. It was sensational. Bryce: Bryce was my waiter and was clearly trained well. He was attentive, informative, kind, and gave amazing recommendations. I am a person who doesn’t like to be looked over by wait staff and Bryce should honestly teach a class in how to be attentive but not overbearing. I asked for a lot of different things and not once did I feel like I was bothering him. He made me feel very welcome in the restaurant. I can’t complain about one thing. The experience, the vibe of the restaurant, the flavors, all of it was top notch.”

“No one knows JUST how AMAZING the food is here because it's tied to a bowling alley. Let me just tell you..... It's some of the best food in Habersham County. The menu is as big as Texas. Don't know what to get? Go on a Tuesday and try a specialy cocktail by the best bartender ever. Start with an appetizer of spinach artichoke dip, the Greek salad will hit home. For a meal, hit the burger menu. ALL of them are to die for. Have fun, Eat happy. Much LoVE”

“Noticed this little shop this morning while my boyfriend and I were out to get him breakfast. I really wanted A to Zinc as I am not a breakfast person and prefer protein shakes. I was upset when we got to A to Zinc and realized that they didn't open until 1 on Sundays, on our way home I spotted the sign for Clarkesville Protein Place on the square and had my boyfriend to stop because I was going to give it a chance since I'd never noticed it before. I walked in with very little expectations thinking I'd only see a few basic flavors but I was wrong. I walked in and was handed a menu with a HUGE variety of protein shake flavors, antioxidant teas, acaì bowls, and protein waffles!! The lady working was super nice and gave me a sample of their peach tea (which was delicious and refreshing) and asked if I was from the area. I told her I was and asked how long her shop had been there an she told me 4 months?! I'm just now noticing it!! The price is a little high, but absolutely better than A to Zinc for the amount that you get (protein drinks anyways) I got the chai pumpkin latte iced coffee protein drink and let me just say, Starbucks who? On top of all of this they open at 8 am 7 days a week!! I am a super satisfied customer who is proud to say "My business has officially moved from A to Zinc to Clarkesville Protein Place!"

“I wanted to pay with two different cards. Neither of the workers knew how to split the amount, but it’s really not their fault. Whoever is in charge needs to train the employees better.
