“Attic WE live in Highlands, NC but our kids live in GA. It is a wonderful drive there and back, but we always plan our trip with a lunch stop in Clarkesville, at the Attic Restaurant. Exposed brick walls, a nice bar and ALWAYS fresh foods: I almost always get special soup. We dine inside, but outside is lovely too! Love the waitstaff, the ownership, and even the guests are congenial. The town has cute shops, a great antiques shop and more. You never know where to go off the interstate, BUT the attic is worth the detour!“

“Went tonight ( August 4, 2026) around 5 pm. Ordered the MVP. When the food arrived, pancakes were burnt, hash browns so hard couldn't chew them, eggs weren't cooked all the way (ordered scrambled well), and in between the toast was at least 2 tablespoons of butter. All I was able to eat was my grits and bacon, along with my diet Pepsi. Cook never came over to try to make it right. Only had $3.00 taken off my check. The waitress was nice and apologetic.“

“I have dined at The Copper Pot many times, and somehow I have never tried the Gateway Grits…until today! Let me tell you, this is the best grit dish I have had in a very long time. I am very particular about my grits, and love that their grits are sourced locally from Nora Mill just down the road in Helen. I was looking for something that would warm me up on a cold January afternoon, and this hit the spot. It also helped that I had WONDERFUL service from Alex. She was very attentive, kind, and provided good conversation. Grateful to have wonderful eateries like The Copper Pot in my hometown!“

“I've been going to this Chinese restaurant for a long time. I haven't always live in Clarkesville, but growing up here this was always the best and still is the best around the habersham area. You get what they serve, and that's authentic Chinese food with authentic flavors. Most of their ingredients are imported from China. I've read a lot of negative reviews and I want to say these people that run this restaurant work hard and the food is always the same even after 15 years I haven't noticed a difference in flavor or quality. Another thing if like to mention is that there service isn't the same as a sit down resteraunt, because this is take out. If you've ever been to a foreign market and gotten food at the food court where they speak little English expect the same service which is, Minimal. The only down side I see is it's getting harder and harder to call ahead to order food in because they stay so dang busy so walk in orders are preferred by there staff which I can't recommend, because as a take out customer I order ahead to save time. I don't want to sit and wait for my food.“

“I moved to Cornelia a little over a year ago, finally had food from Midtown Grill. All I can say this is now my favorite place. The portions are huge. The food is out of this world, it is so good that I have gotten food there twice this week. I can honestly say BEST hamburgers in Cornelia. I can’t recommend this place enough, if you haven’t tried it you must . Hope it never changes“

“Despite restaurant problems.. which all restaurants have worst problems plus some then this place. I love them. We had a misunderstanding over some basil rolls I order which very much disappointed me yet I went back the same day and corrected them. I love this place and it’ll always be on my favorite list when I’m in the Habersham area ❣❣🫂lmao I even sent the health inspector by because I was so pissed off yet things like that happened. I’ve seen worse at these chicken places out here even the MCDONALDS IN CORNELIA plus some other restaurants yet I can save it for their own reviews. “We were on our way to Maggie Valley and stopped for lunch and had Jason who was a great attentive bartender and my wedge salad was great and my wife got wings. We liked it so much we stopped on our way back to Florida and had Jake for a bartender and I got shrimp tacos(3) and they were great along with half price Bloody Mary's. Can't beat that!
I noticed they had a few bad reviews so I'm sure they have turned things around. Because both times we were there (Friday/Sunday) it was packed.
