Met 5 friends here for lunch on Monday based on recommendation of one couple. We were all so pleased. The owner was gracious and informative, offering suggestions to those of us unfamiliar with the cuisine.
We shared dishes of Vegetable Combos, Awaze Tibs and another less spicy meat dish. We scraped our plates clean. We have converted some wary friends to this style of eating.
Friendly, clean, and well decorated business establishment. We were all charmed by the owner!
The delightful owner, Frey, explained the unfamiliar menu and made recommendations for our first meal. We opted for the awaze tibs and vegetable platter which cooked fresh to order. We were able to specify the spice level to our preference. All the vegetables were delicious, as was the beef. The restaurant is a nice compact simple place with a bar, and serves Ethiopian coffee which you can have as a coffee ceremony.
