“Ok , I just ate my "Derek Tibs" and it's really delicious. It's a new spot, I can see that people are getting used to it. But the food is amazing. You can tell the cook gets joy out of witnessing people loving her food. They took their time, effort. They cook with love!!! Best in da A town. Definitely coming back to make my taste buds dance. Good job!!!“

“I heard about The Black Coffee Company from someone this morning because they knew I was looking for a space to do some work with good coffee. I immediately drove over and when I tell you Crystal made me the Killer Mike and she made it a little sweet for me and Brianna topped my taste buds off with the avocado toast with everything on it. This is my new favorite spot. The music is great, not too loud that you can’t work but just right. I highly recommend them. They are a whole vibe.“

“Got their brewed coffee and their banana muffin which were both rly good! I arrived at the café around 10:30 and it was pretty crowded but I got lucky enough to find a seat. There’s not too much seating so it can get pretty hectic when it gets super busy but but overall rly great! Rly want to go back to try their lattes since they seem to be popular for it!“

“Unassuming from the outside but nice low-key atmosphere with live music. I’m here rn about 3pm it’s not busy and there’s a guy playing guitar. Very nice. I will say that the lot is gravel so if you have a date or something, I might consider eschewing the stilettos“

“Really enjoy this place. The atmosphere is peaceful and cozy. The baristas are excellent people who know their products but also have interesting backgrounds and talents. I have enjoyed a few conversations on lazy days with the folks working here. The coffee and tea and the elixirs are all delicious and I highly recommend. Parking is easy. Either park in lot or across the street .... Gillys also has events they host but I don't see them posted on FB... I usually just ask at the counter.“

“Mokhaport is a coffee shop featuring Ethiopian and Yemini coffee and teas. They also offer smoothies and food items with a sizable quantity of Halal, Vegan, Gluten-Free, and Soy-Free offerings. The majority of their food is made in-house. Mokhaport has an intimate seating area with Wifi and a generous number of electrical outlets. Mokaport has some of the best customer service for a coffee shop. The owner is friendly and willing to answer questions and provide recommendations regarding the menu offerings. You are actually provided a sample of your coffee/tea item before it is finalized. My go-to drink is the Dirty Adani (Sweet Yemini Chai with a shot of coffee) with brown sugar and oat milk. Pro tip: save your receipt via text, which makes it easier to duplicate your beverage order once you have found the perfect drink. I visit this coffee shop every time I am in the area, as the coffees, teas, and service are impeccable. I am looking forward to trying the smoothies, cheesecake, and some of the savory food products like the beef patty and cheese pastry.“
“This is a neighborhood coffee/tea shop where you feel like a person rather than just a name on a cup. This is the quintessential “Shop Around the Corner.” This is a vintage Mom and Pop place that makes you feel like family.“

“The seasonal Cloud Nine tea is fantastic! It’s a pretty purple-blue color, too. Friendly staff, spacious and plenty of seating inside and looks like they have outside seating as well. They offer coffee classes which is pretty unique. A perfect neighborhood spot.“

“This place is very cozy and the cashier was so nice! The banh mis are made fresh so it does take a little longer but it’s so worth it. Everything is well balanced. Bread was fluffy and crunchy. The Vietnamese sauce compliments the juicy crispy wings. No dipping sauce needed for their wings. The grilled pork banh mi - get the pate added and it’ll set it off. The pork was tender and smoky. They have sugarcane juice which was the best refreshing drink for a hot summer day. It’s a modern Vietnamese fusion spot that actually does it right. It still tastes Vietnamese but in a different way. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend!!“

“I recently tried the blueberry matcha with oat milk at Wave 3, and it's the best matcha I've had outside of Japan. The combination of the earthy matcha and the sweet, fresh organic blueberry is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for any matcha lover!“

“Very friendly & professional staff, nice atmosphere & delicious coffee & banana bread.
Parking: Parking is in a garage below the complex entered from the rear. There is a QR code to get to the parking webpage but to get free parking you need the code which is available In Foxtail. It was OK to complete the parking "payment" after visiting Foxtail.“

“Such a cozy little shop. We had the best time catching up with friends and enjoying some delicious coffee this morning. The coffee is fantastic and the environment is super welcoming. A one of a kind and enjoyable experience that we relished every minute of it. The owner even came over and chatted with us for a bit and that was delightful as well. Definitely recommend!“

“A popular spot for Midtown locals and anyone walking to Piedmont Park, Larakin is a great neighborhood haunt with a lot of local color. Their mix of coffee, beer and wine along with a small selection of pastries, flat breads and light nibbles is perfect for breakfast and lounging anytime of the day. Seating is entirely outside, and the service is friendly, attentive, and low key. And you can’t beat the location. There’s no parking though, except what you find on the street or a nearby lot. So plan accordingly because when piedmont park is busy, so is Larakin.“
“Really loved this coffee/butcher shop! The place has a lot of customers but still makes some delicious coffee and sandwiches in a timely manner. The baristas are very kind, genuine, and down to earth. I had an egg & cheese sandwich it was the best I've had in a long time! Really recommend stopping by and giving them a try. Thank you to the staff of Academy, especially George, for a great morning coffee & breakfast. ?“

“Love the open interior & ambiance of this place. It is great for either socializing or solo work (there are private work rooms if you can manage to find one unoccupied). The drinks & pastries are great, but what stands out the most to me is the warmth and hospitality from Denise. I really appreciate having GPCH back in this neighborhood!“

“I've been here several times, but my recent visit was disappointing. There were a lot of flies both indoors and outdoors, which was puzzling. I had to constantly shoo them away, and their presence gave the impression that the coffee shop might need better sanitation.“

“Met Chris recently Saturday & was beyond impressed with how aware & detail’s he was with customers even passed work hours. The atmosphere inside has a loungy-earthy feel. Best part about it was how “at-home” they cater to ya. I recommend the Thai milk tea & any form of salad to sizzle up the appetite. 5/5 for me.“

“On a mission to have breakfast today, without waiting in a long line, I stumbled on a jewel in the former location of soul food restaurants, Deacon Burton’s/Son’s Place in Inman Park. The Breakfast Burrito, Salmon on Toast, champagne, etc., were delicious and Complimentary!! Unbeknown to us, restaurant was having a “private intro” to the community and a staff training event. Melanie (Owner/Host) welcomed us in like we were family. Her husband Micheal was so excited to hear about my many visits to Deacon Burton’s. Can’t wait to go back. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️“

“The coffee was excellent! A perfect light roast coffee. I ordered the zucchini bread which was fresh and moist and the very vegan wrap. The wrap was okay, on the smaller side. It had tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach and hummus but felt like the wrap was mostly tortilla. I appreciated all the vegan options and would absolutely go back to try something else.

“Great coffee. Good Urban outdoor space.
I'm in here once a month or so, as it's on my path and the coffee is worth going a little out of the way.
Originally, I came here for the Bohemian blend, which is only available in a few places. It's a great roast that is both robust and smooth. Mostly, I drink straight espresso shots. The espresso shots here are particularly smooth and consistent.
In addition to great coffee, they have a decent shelf of pastries. Also, they have a well crafted selection of roasted coffees. Of course, they have a bunch of mugs that are entertaining as we all need another steel tumbler.
Their outdoor area is spacious and pleasant. There's a large screened area with fans and some other lounge chairs nearby.
If you're really picky about your coffee, this is worth going a bit out of your way.
Dietary restrictions: They have a few gluten-free pastries. There always seems to be chocolate chip cookies as well as some nut and oat based treats.
Parking: The parking lot is small and is shared by a few other businesses. At times, it has been difficult to find a spot, but it always works out for me. There is also parking nearby on the street.“
