“Getting back to our annual trips in the Northern Georgia mountains serenity cellars is a must. We enjoy a nice bottle of Dolce Bello on Christmas Eve for the last 10 years. Michaela has been helping us for many years now she’s always such a pleasure.“

“We conclude our weekend with a visit to number 16, a serene venue nestled along a scenic road reminiscent of a neighborhood street. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a tastefully appointed tasting room overlooking a picturesque vineyard. The establishment boasts an impressive selection of wines and slushies, as well as beers and sodas for those who prefer alternative beverages. To complement their offerings, a bread and olive oil dish is provided, and charcuterie boards are available for purchase to enhance the overall experience. Fortunately, we visited during a quiet period, allowing us to enjoy a peaceful conversation with the owner and a friendly bartender in the comfort of the indoor seating area. Additionally, a nearby Vrbo property within walking distance caught our attention, and we intend to explore this option further.“

“Nofo brewery is about 10 mins away from Yonah mountain. Offers roughly 20 different beers on tap and fairly nice location to enjoy the outdoors. Plenty of sitting and parking, but it does get crowded at times. No food is served, but they often have a food truck to help supplement if that is needed. We were there when a Cuban truck was parked outside. Saw lots of families, dogs and couples out enjoying a beverage or two. I do recommend getting a flight to try the different options. We will be back to visit when in this area.“

“I would like to start out by saying that I’m in the industry. The tour and tasting was absolutely amazing!!! This is the closest you could get to a California winery experience possible in Georgia. The owner was so down to earth and made you feel right at home. The wines were phenomenal. The views were exceptionally beautiful. 11 out of 10“

“The food is really good-everything is prepared to order. The only issue I have (and we’ve been a few times), is the ordering process. I think it would be better with a waitstaff. Standing in line (for all 4 visits there) for over 20 minutes to place the food order. Also, the cashier had left the line 2 of those 4 times we were there to re fill the chip box. The line extends outside often, and depending on the weather that is an issue. Again, if they had a waitstaff and a waitlist to sit on busy days, this would eliminate standing in line, or outside.“

“As a local resident, my wife and I frequently visit many of the wineries in the area. The Cottage is one of our favorites. The view is beautiful, the wine selection has something for everyone and I like to enjoy the frozen wines in the spring and summer times. They always provide high quality local music performers and host special events.All the wineries in the area have a lot to offer, but the Cottage staff is the best! If you get a chance, make plans to visit.“

“I completely fell in love with this cabin. It had everything we needed, and the place felt like a dream. From the moment we arrived, the lady who welcomed us was incredibly kind and charismatic, taking the time to explain everything to us in a friendly and warm manner.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work very well, but it turned out to be a blessing as it allowed us to fully disconnect from the city and immerse ourselves in the surroundings. The area is absolutely beautiful, perfect for connecting with nature.

The cabin was well-equipped, although I think it could use a frying pan and a pot to make full use of the electric stove, and I’d recommend adding a hairdryer in the bathroom. Other than that, everything was perfect. One detail we loved was finding blankets in the living room to use while sitting by the fire pit.

If you’re looking for a place to enjoy nature and stay just 10 minutes from the town of Helen, I highly recommend this cabin!“

“Some of the best people I’ve ever met. Working there was an amazing experience and they have hands down the best pizza around. Definitely recommend stopping in during your visits!!!“

“The vineyard is in a beautiful rolling hills setting. Drive in and follow the signs till you drive the gravel road around the vineyard. You'll find parking after the wood and glass barn. The tasting room is on the right in the white building. I tried a flight of red and white with their port. All are good. The port was my favorite. The wine and a charcuterie tray were purchased together.

Parking is on a slight slope with grass. Not too much of an incline.

I enjoyed everything under the covered patio. It has some spectacular views. Enjoy!“

“Here for a family reunion. We had Tracy as our waitress and she was top notch! She got everything correct and food out for 17 people! Food was great! Catfish and steaks were great! We will be back and will ask for Tracy! Knoxville TN“

“This was a nice German bakery and Cafe. There is a bakery counter to the left when you walk in with sweets and breads. To the right is a meat counter. It stayed busy with a line out the door but we arrived just in time to be in line just inside the door. We had the alpine french toast with sausage and coffee - delicious, filling, affordable. The entire menu looked appetizing. The host and server were both polite and friendly despite how busy things were. There is also a small area with gifts and pantry items for purchase.“

“This was the second time I’ve been to Bodensee, and it never fails to show off the best of that German food has to offer. The schnitzel and spatzel are by far my favorite dishes from here. The service was amazing, even in the height of Oktoberfest they still have speed and are super friendly. I will happily come back up to Bodensee to enjoy more of what they have to offer.
Make sure to keep an eye out for the lovely gentleman that play music throughout the restaurant.“

“I first heard about Muller’s when I was researching for my vacation. What piqued my interest was the fact that they had gluten free fried food. Not only is the food gluten free, but they have their own separate fryer for gluten free items. I also was able to sit outside with my dog. The food was absolutely amazing, the staff were friendly and attentive, and everything could not have been better. Muller’s was the only restaurant I went back to twice on my trip. If you’re in Helen, GA Muller’s is a must try“

“DELISH. Had the pretzel (with beer cheese) flown in from Munich -- amazing! Onion soup was surprisingly delicious as well as the Reuben and homemade potato salad (not pictured). EXCELLENT food and great service. Will come again next time we visit!!“

“Delicious✨. My family went there specifically because of the good reviews one of us was reading. I don’t know what site he was using but they were all outstanding, nothing less than a four star. I thought the place was amazing! We were served pretty quickly and the appetizers greatly appeased the wait. The loaded fries and chicken I got was DELICIOUS! I have never eaten anything better ? (I’m not a bot, I swear?). The servers were really nice, especially the guy on the phone when we called to ask about the wait (there was none!) They even pushed enough tables together to have our 19 people sitting at the same table (usually they say 15 people a table, max at other restaurants). I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it??‍♀️. Highly recommend!“
