“Fun for the whole family!!!! This bar boasts an incredible history, great staff, and fantastic patrons. The food is pretty good, great variety of beers, and an amazing atmosphere. An excellent way for locals and visitors of the Dahlonega area to mingle with the US Army's historic Ranger school and its latest batch of instructors.Whether its food to get ready for a hike in the Chattahoochee National Forest or perhaps a beer and wings after a few days of camping, the Overhang is an amazing spot.“
“OMG! My husband and I are celebrating our 5 year anniversary today, and we stopped into Naturally Georgia to partake in a wine tasting. We were quickly greeted by Amanda, who is PHENOMENAL! Amanda is such a sweet person and knowledgeable about the various wines and pairings.I tasted the rosé, Sweet Sally,, Peach Wine, and the slushie which was similar to the peach wine.I absolutely loved the peach wine and slushie. They are absolutely amazing! This was our first time ever wine tasting, and it was a great experience! Amanda also gave us great recommendations on things to do nearby! We will definitely be back!“
“The owner was very friendly and made us feel at home. The coffee (which they grow on their farm in Costa Rica) was very good. I had the white bean chicken chili with grilled cheese and my wife had the ham and cheese frittata. Both were excellent. The patio was warm and comfortable on a cold January morning.“
“Stopped in for a late lunch and loved this place. I had a big bowl of Irish stew and a Dreamy pudding cup. Both were so good that I’ve lost the capacity to properly explain it. Would eat again. Will visit again.Very gluten/dairy free friendly.“
“Always love going to Etowah meadery, it is veteran owned and operated, which is awesome cause my wife is a veteran and I support our troops, best draft mead you will find and the standard mead is great, if you go try grandma's apple pie, best draft mead on tap, and the staff is always great. Always my go to for a mead fix“
“I'm from New Orleans so we decided to give this place a try. We tried a variety of dishes. There was not one we didn't like. One thing I will say, the beignets are not like New Orleans ones. They're delicious but not like the real ones from New Orleans. We ate there for brunch. We will definitely be back for dinner.“
“I have been coming here for years, and the food, service, and ambiance has always been good. The schnitzel is always crispy, and the potato pancakes are to die for. The cheese platters are always a good option, and the deserts are wonderful. For a Friday night dinner, it's wonderful to have- though I do think that something is missing- and that something is ASPARAGUS. I am no food professional or critic, but I think offering a common German vegetable like asparagus is a good way to introduce vegetables that allows fresh balance on the plate, as the only opinions are potato's, mushroom sauce, and cabbage in a sauce as well. I think for those looking for a hearty yet refreshing vegetable as a side- asparagus is the key here. Otherwise- everything was ABSOLUTELY wonderful!“
“Such a cool place, I hosted a bridal shower for my daughter in the green room and it was perfect!! The room is already decorated so nicely we really didn’t have to do a lot. The staff was so accommodating and friendly, and the manager Brandon was very easy to work with. Guests from my event were very impressed and purchased coffee and loved it! Highly recommended! Next time I’m going to have to try the yoga… ?“
“Very small dining room because it is a part of a gas/convenience store. Appropriate decorations and theme and the smell is heavenly!DELICIOUS food and best barbque in Dahlonega/Dawsonville in my opinion. They considerately double bag liquid sauces and entries to prevent spillage in car. Will definitely return many more times-I highly recommend this restaurant!Parking: Because this place is part of a very busy gas station/convenience store, parking can be tricky and vehicles don't obey reasonable speed restrictions at times. They do have a small outdoor dining area.“
“Absolutely Amazing! Thank you for working on Easter, and feeding us an amazing meal, and sending us to the falls that were closest to you! We just bragged to one another as we enjoyed our picnic! The gal at the register was a sweetheart! Best stew ever!“
“This was such a nice treat for my boyfriend and I while we were away at a friends wedding in GA. This place is linked up with the hotel/Inn we stayed at for the weekend. They allow you to order your breakfast for the next morning and they deliver it your hotel room at a designated time the next morning. We literally had delicious breakfast in bed two mornings in a row. The lovely lady who runs this business is extremely sweet and prompt. For $22 you get coffee, orange juice, fresh fruit (banana and oranges) and our choice of hot breakfast entree for 2 people! You can't beat that price. Everything was really delicious and the coffee was hot and fresh each morning. The first morning we ordered yummy omelet sandwiches and the second morning my boyfriend ordered the croissant and egg sandwich and I ordered the quiche. But she actually mentioned that she accidently dropped my quiche and went ahead and made me a yummy non pork croissant egg and cheese sandwich and it was fantastic! I appreciated her accommodating me still and doing a non pork option. It was wonderful! Amazing customer service! This was such a great addition to our stay this weekend. We work really hard so to be able relax and sleep in and have breakfast in bed was truly amazing! Highly recommend this spot!“
