“I went through downtown the other day with my boyfriend and my baby, and I remembered how good barrel house was from a while back… so I mentioned it and we went… best decision I’ve made this year! We got 2 regular frozen Carmel lattes for me and my boyfriend and they are perfect! it was super easy to order and had amazingly friendly employees, I will be returning with some friends/family!Kid-friendliness: They are super friendly and accepting if you bring your children in! Though people do study in here, so if you (like me) have a loud child, it may be best to go towards the outdoor seating!Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp to get up to the doorway from the parking lot making it easy for someone in a wheelchair to get up!“

“Nice little brewery, great location. Staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely glad we drove out from Big Canoe for the evening. Would come back if in the area again. Ordered pizza from the pizza truck across the street and they delivered it to us in the brewery, it was quick and delicious. Great way to spend a Wednesday evening.“

“Came in on a busy Friday night. Bailey took such great care of us. Made it super personable. We couldn’t decide and did the Boss Hog - the sausage is a shocking surprise! Oh, save room for the desserts - they’re awesome. Love that it is family owned and enjoyed seeing Bryan and Kristi Choate checking on everyone.“

“A friend and I stopped here early on a Sunday and loved the space and coffee! Parking was easy on the streets around the space and was free. The inside is smaller, but had a few tables inside and outside as well as one table up the stairs. The spring menu was super cute and we ordered off of it per the barista's recommendation. The Lavender Coco was so so good and perfect iced for the warmer weather. We also ordered cream cheese and jam croissants. The guava jam that I got was of so good and a nice change from the typical. My friend got the blueberry and was just as happy! We discussed WiFi and the potential of coming back to work from the cafe. Definitely come here if you want good coffee and vibes!“

“Had the Ribeye with French onion soup and truffle fries, and she had the center cut filet with mashed potatoes. Everything was FANTASTIC. Service was good (slow on refills for drinks/water but they were attentive otherwise) and the food took a good while to make it out from the time we ordered (almost 45 minutes). Pretty confident that was an anomaly, though and it was packed to capacity even at our later reservation (8pm). Definitely looking forward to going back, hands down the best steak in the area. If you can, I highly recommend trying it yourself. Three tips: 1. 100% make a reservation on OpenTable, they had our table ready and there was zero wait so they take reservations seriously vs just bumping you to the front of the queue like most places. 2. Bring a few bucks cash to tip the valet, as parking is valet only. 3. Get there early if you want the Prime Rib.“

“We were immediately greeted by Jordan who was also our server. Jordan is extremely nice and very professional. This was our first time visiting and we will definitely be back. We ordered the burger and the chicken philly. Both were prepared perfectly and presented beautifully. Throughout our meal, Jordan was attentive but not overbearing. The décor is tavern like and the restaurant is very clean. Oh, by the way, since I had a designated driver, I had two cocktails which were amazing and generous. Great place to enjoy, the food is great and the overall experience is excellent as well. One of the BEST restaurants in the area, IMHO.“

“COME HERE if you have an event! Chelsea was an absolute DREAM to work with! She made planning my daughter’s rehearsal dinner effortless. She is super sweet, professional and PROMPT with communication on her end and patient with me and my countless questions. Our party of 30 had an absolute blast and our family and friends RAVED about the food, the venue and the icing on the cake was the Friday night live music! Best pecan pie I’ve ever had in my life! The food was absolute perfection and we got to take home leftovers which was awesome so I didn’t have to cook for days and a lot of restaurants don’t do this - Chelsea and Gabe ran our event like a boss and it was a night we will always remember ??“

“This was a great venue and I hope to have the chance to have another event here in the future. Savana Stewart, the event coordinator, was so helpful in making sure everything I needed would be setup as I envisioned. The manager on duty and other staff that day were very helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend, all my guests had positive things to say.“
