About North Georgia BBQ - Dahlonega

North Georgia BBQ is a welcoming spot that is worth the drive and a great part of Dahlonega’s rich food culture. The food is amazing per usual, with lots of great options and perfect sauces. The Mac and cheese is always immaculate and genuinely next level. The brisket and ribs are delicious with good sized portions, though the meat can be pretty fatty. The pig melt, with grilling on both sides of the Texas toast, is a great choice. The BBQ sandwiches, including the pulled chicken sandwiches, are favorite items on the menu. The employees are super friendly and create a welcoming environment. The prices are very reasonable, the portions are big, and they have great sweet tea. Outdoor seating is nice. Some guests noted the building can be incredibly hot inside, and drink amenities like ice and lids are sometimes absent. Overall, lots of love and care is put into this restaurant.

Huge portions and wonderful food. We loved the porker, brisket and piggy melt
We used North Georgia BBQ to cater our sons rehearsal dinner. Everything was PERFECT! David Coffel was awesome to work with. He was prompt and did a wonderful job of setting everything up. He thought of everything we would need! The food was wonderful! Our guests raved about how good it was. If you need catering for an event this is the place to use and David is the BEST! I promise you will be blown away by the food as well as the awesome customer service!

We have been coming here since opening it was great but it has progressively gotten not so good. Cant tell difference anymore from small and large sandwich as far as the amount you get on the bun and you get about 10 fries usually cold. The music has changed to loud noise where we dont want to eat there. Its like hard rock concert. Hope it comes back to when they opened.
