“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Hightower Creek Vineyards. The owner of the Vineyard (Fred) sat with us for quite a while and was so friendly and hospitable. Fred told us all about the history of the vineyard and gave us a little tour of the place. He’s a very nice man and you can tell he truly wants his guests to enjoy their time their. We loved the Chatuga Red wine. We enjoyed it at the vineyard and bought a couple bottles to take with us. We were at the vineyard on a Saturday and they happened to have some very nice live entertainment 2-5pm. They have a great covered deck overlooking the grounds with comfortable seating and tables. We brought our dog and he thoroughly enjoyed as well. An afternoon we’ll spent!“
“Some friends and I were staying up there for the weekend and our host recommended this place. Everyone was kind of on the fence but honestly it was worth it, we had a great time! Asia, our server was great. She gave is some great recommendations. FYI. The short rib was great. Kudos to the kitchen. We are definitely going back next time we are up there.“
“We all loved the food and atmosphere. It's very open and bright with plenty of seating and a huge bar. They have a large covered outdoor seating area overlooking the the lake. It was closed due to being so cold in late December though. They also have Top Golf video game golfing but you can also do football, soccer, hockey and baseball. You hit into a backdrop and the screen shows it. They have big couches and a bar in each of the 3 Top Golf stalls.“
“Fish n Cips was excellent. The fries (chips) were just a bit limp, but had good flavor. The fish was cooked perfectly. Best I’ve had in some time.A 2nd bar area would be nice to spread out the crowd . They were a bit understaffed. The staff that was there did great, but they were a bit overwhelmed. Nice selection of brews.“
“This a very nice, quiet place to get breakfast and lunch. I had a group of 8 for breakfast, and we enjoyed everything we got. Came back with two friends and one of their kids for lunch, we all got different burgers, and they were amazing as well.“
“Without question, one of the better wineries we've been to in Georgia.Excellent views coupled with a great atmosphere and good wines.The views were excellent! There is a beautiful piece of property with two lakes down below past with grapes growing in the vineyard. The staff inside was excellent!!! So kind and so helpful.They have a sleeping of white and red styles to choose from and offer flights, glasses, and bottles. I wasn't smart and didn't flip the wine list over to discover the reds. Just meant I needed a second flight ??♂️?They had great cheeses, crackers, meats, and other snacks to make you experience perfect.There is a parking lot up top but on a busy day you may have to get creative. There are a few places you could park on the exit path so if the lot is full head down and find a spot to park.The drive from the road to the winery is relatively short but all gravel. Motorcycles won't fair well on that so get a lift to the top or take a little walk up there.“
“A gem of a restaurant with really impressive beers for a small town. The food was excellent and the beers had about 24 taps brewed by the establishment in a wide variety of styles from lagers to ipas to saisons to stouts.They do a lot of pizza and it was really good. Even have gluten free options that turned out great. They have a second kitchen for wings and many other options.It's one of very few restaurants in the town. It was an excellent choice despite so few options. I was very pleasantly surprised and would return without question.“
“OMG!!!Such an incredible meal.The menu changes every couple of days so that they are paying attention to the details of what they are serving, and it's never just the same place and the same food.I had the salmon, and my wife had stuffed chicken breast. The sides were awesome, and dessert was incredible.Overall, it was a great dining experience that we look forward to having again.“
“Ate lunch here today after playing tourist in our area. The nachos were in the biggest bowl I have ever seen, and my very picky spouse absolutely raved about them. My burger was perfect. We laughed when we walked in because we too have a big black lab and it made us miss him . Our server was prompt, all staff was friendly, and we will definitely be back!“
