Mercy's Jamaican Kitchen Reviews
A must-try!
This was my first time dining here, and it exceeded all expectations. The food was packed with flavor—every bite was memorable. The customer service was exceptional, making the whole experience even better. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out!
I love Jamaican food and I know what it suppose to taste like. The oxtails were salty and they only gave me 2 medium size tails and 3 very very small tails for 27 dollars. The worst 27 dollars I've ever spent in my life! The cabbage was trash but I must say the plantains were the best I ever had. The food didn't have that authentic jamacain taste at all. So my husband and I for our 5th or 6th wedding anniversary went to Jamaica where we had our first experience with Jamaican food and fell in love with it. When we came home and heard about Mercy’s we gave it a try- and now it is our favorite restaurant.

Mercy's Jamaican Kitchen offers a taste of authentic Jamaican cuisine with flavorful dishes like oxtails, rice, macaroni and cheese, and plantains. The restaurant has a welcoming staff that provides excellent customer service, making diners feel like they are in Jamaica. Many customers have praised the food for being packed with flavor, with the oxtails often described as soft and falling off the bone. The 3 meat combo, which includes brown stew chicken, jerk chicken, and oxtail, has gained a dedicated following, with one customer noting its generous portion size and the complimentary peas and rice that come with every entree. While some found the rice a bit undercooked, others enjoyed the Jerk Chicken with Curry Goat Gravy, appreciating its spiciness. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, featuring a backyard patio style that reminds some diners of Jamaica. The restaurant has reasonable prices for the quality, with a medium plate costing around $24 and the 3 meat combo priced at about $33 for a hefty serving. Overall, Mercy's Jamaican Kitchen is a clean establishment with delicious food that keeps customers coming back for more, with many expressing satisfaction with the portions and the variety of fruit juices offered, including Soursop.
