“Our family loves the Concord Cafe. Not only is the food great, the atmosphere is great! So happy we live nearby, because we go as often as possible! (The new owners did a fabulous job remodeling the building. My grandfather operated a General Store in the building in the early 1900’s. My dad, born in 1913, worked in the store from age 5 until he boarded the train for Young Harris College in 1930. After my grandfather retired, my aunt and Uncle ran the General Store on the west side of the building.) There is a ton of history in that building and The Concord Cafe is certainly making history with the great food served in the building.”

“This place is AUTHENTIC. I grew up in Arizona and this place is as good as it gets. Cannot recommend it enough. The sangria is also made in house and very good. The street tacos are pretty much perfect and the Mexican street corn tastes like it came straight off a vendor’s cart in Mexico.”

“I came with the intent to take pictures of the grounds, but this place is so picturesque that I felt like 3-4 photos wouldn’t do it justice, so I just decided to add some humble contributions of the food and beer. This place is perfect for hosting events or even being a wedding venue, but outside of that the food and beer needs to be discussed because no matter how nice and scenic a brewery is if the beer isn’t up to snuff it deserves an average rating. The beer itself is very solid quality. My favorite being the lager. The pretzel is also great and a good price; up in Atlanta you’d pay $13 for the same thing and get less pretzel. Overall, scenic, great vibe, and quality food and beer. The draft list is on the smaller side, but there’s plenty of cocktails to choose from as well. If you’re not local-ish it’s definitely worth the drive at least once.”

“I love this place! Whenever I'm in town, I always make a point to stop in. The manager came to my table, and I said, 'Wow, you keep your place so clean, and the food is so good!' He replied, 'Come with me,' and took me to the entrance of his kitchen. It looked like it had never been used! I couldn't believe how clean it was. I will always support this business. Thank you!"”

“The food is amazing, and so are the people.Wheelchair accessibility: There is not much in the way of accesibility, there are no clearly marked handicap parking places and the decor causes some issues with wheelchair usage. Despite these trials, the establishment is well worth the effort.”

“My family and I loved having dinner and then seeing a concert here. The atmosphere is fantastic with lots of aviation memorabilia. All of the staff was super friendly. They made us all feel like family. The food was great with a homemade chocolate cake that was amazing. We can't wait to go back for the next concert or just for the food and airplane watching.”

“I took my family here after being recommended this restaurant by friends. It did not dissapoint. I ordered a rum runner and we all snacked on chips while waiting for the main course to arrive. Their signature dish is the Cazuela, a clay pot filled with steak, chicken, chorizo, shrimp, peppers and onions swimming in a chile sauce. It is served with rice, beans, and a guacamole salad. This was absolutely delicious and can easily feed two people. I was also not put off by the prices and the service was impeccable. Our waitress was friendly, swift and knowledgeable. I will be returning here for sure.”

“My husband and I come here most Saturdays. The last few, our cashier was Gabby and already had our orders memorized. So she rung us up and that was that. This last Sat, she saw us parking and cross the street and when we got to the register she had already rang us up....CORRECTLY and all we had to do was swipe our card. “When entering this establishment, you will be pleasantly greeted by the southern hospitality and a touch of rustic chic. At the main entrance, you see a modestly sized bar that is beautifully designed and handmade by one of the owners. The atmosphere is definitely a 5 Star. The staff are really polite and have the cutest uniforms (Realtree Camo) shirts. We came with a group of 7, a few of our guests handicapped, we needed a space for us all that was open and easy to get to. The staff accommodated our needs and promptly prepared a space for us. We were seated at our table by one of the Owners Melanie, she was very polite, with a big welcoming smile, and answered a few of our questions about the establishment. The food, the food, the food.....Wow! BBQ the right way, it is not slathered with some random in-house sauce. It comes to you the way it came out of the pit, ready for the sauce of your choosing. Moist, Smokey, and Soooooooo Tender. I got the brisket, the best I've had in years! When it comes time to pick sides, always go for the Peach Baked Beans. It's my first time at Doodlum's, and even I know that! 5 stars all the way around! If you happen to ride through this area, you have to stop by. You won't regret it. We sure didn't. Thanks for the amazing food and even better service!Parking: Front of store, No Commercial Trucks sign out front, but it seems it may be safe to park your rig across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: There is one accessible ramp to the right side of the front handicap parking spot.”

“In todays economy it is so important to get the best food possible when eating out.Fast and friendly service here at this restaurant!The French fries were hot and delicious. Just the right amount of saltChic filet all the way was just ok. We got 3 meals ($10 plus change each) and we all agreed that the chic filet was lacking seasoning. They were hot and fresh though and loved the seeded bunsAll of the lettuce tomatoes onions etc were all very freshWe would eat here again. I have heard that they have great salads so will have to try that next time”

“When I tell you these wings are the best I've had in a very long time! I mean it. The fries were standard, but the hot wings were so flavorful. Just the right size (not too small or too big) and fresh! You can tell these wings were fresh. The celery that came with it was fresh as well. Most places, the celery is hard and strong, but they took their time and peeled the celery. It made me look at celery in a whole new light. I will definitely be back. Service was good as well.”

“When we got there they were only two gentlemen working they gave us great service and the food was great. While we were dining a young crew come in and the gentlemen left. One had hair down to her knees which I know is not within health code. They just stood around and loudly talked after we cleared our table we said y'all have a good day they looked at us like we were intruding on their conversation. So glad we got there before their shift started in the older gentlemen took care of us.”
