“If you are in need of a food truck for your event, look no further! We were having a huge outdoor party for my husband’s 50th birthday and we had invited over 100 people and we really wanted a food truck where not only the adults would love the food but also not too eccentric where it could please the kids too. I spent a lot of time throughout a week scouring the internet for a food truck that I felt could fit our needs. I found the menus for private parties too restricting and it was starting to feel I wouldn’t be able to find the kind of menu I wanted. A friend of mine whose neighborhood has a lot of block parties and hires food trucks often suggested Soul Truckin Good. She said that out of all the trucks, that was the most raved about and pleased the masses. I had called a few already and felt discouraged with the limited menu for private parties. I might have liked this and that but maybe they couldn’t do this and that together. I felt a little like Goldilocks and the Three Bears trying to find a menu I felt excited about. With the party being combined with our annual St. Patty’s Day party I knew the drinks would be flowing and I wanted to make sure the food was yummy, hearty and filling for a one time guest visit to the truck. So I called Soul Truckin Good, and Jei answered the phone. She has the perfect amount of professionalism, kindness AND understanding when talking things over. The way she described the menu was very easy to understand and I felt like we had great main dish and side dish choices to work with. There was one additional side I wanted even though it ventured outside of the A, B, C type of menu. She wanted to make sure we were happy and she was happy to work with me to make sure we had the menu we wanted. By the end of the process, I felt like I was talking to my friend rather than a stranger. The party was growing by the day. And she talked me through everything regarding the number of people and how much to order, like a pro. Sometimes I felt like she was my therapist, lol, because of the concern I had with making sure everyone would get fed. When you have an Evite for a big party and even if you set a deadline for RSVPs, you will always have those friends that say, oh I forgot…is it too late? Or I know I initially said it was just 2 of us but now it will be all 5, yada yada yada. So we came up with a plan that I felt comfortable with. And not to forget about the food or the guest happiness- the day of the party gets here and the food truck was a huge success. Everyone loved the food. Everything went smoothly, truck was here on-time (even early). They make sure to plan with time cushions to get to their commitments with plenty of time. And there was a line at the end as our time was coming to a close and they stayed until the last person received their order. Can’t assume that will always be the case but I was their last commitment that day. Just goes to show they care about the experience and not just the dollar. I don’t think there are a lot of business owners out there that care as much about making your experience the best it can be. But I can say without a doubt that Soul Truckin Good is one of them!“

“Brisket burger and pulled pork sandwish were fantastic. The sides (potato salad and mac n cheese) were also amazing and OMG don’t get me started on that banana pudding. 10/10. First time visit and will definitely be back!“

“This is a awesome restaurant, BBQ Brisket, Sausage, Chicken are phenomenal but that damn cobbler will take you straight to my Mama's kitchen in 1979. As the oool kids say nowadays OMG Good!

“Excellently smoked and prepared meats of various types. My girlfriend accidentally ate the entire appetizer before her entree because it was so good. She took the rest home. This is the type of restaurant I would go to instead of Fogo de Ciao or Korean bbq.“

I used Suthern Cluck to cater a meal for 48 people (my son’s theater group) and it was raved about for weeks! They are the best at all they do and they do it with a superior execution! “I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a half rack of ribs and that's what I got. The only ribs that taste better than theirs, are the ones that I make at home.😂 I also tried their chicken and brisket and those were just as good❤ I haven't eaten on the inside so I can't tell you anything about the atmosphere. The peach cobbler is fantastic and they are very generous with it. The coleslaw was good - not too sweet and not over creamy. The the ONLY thing I didn't like was a Mac & chz. Theirs was too salty so I threw that away. Five out of six ain't too bad. Sorry I forgot to take photos. I was hungry. I will return.“

“I had the pleasure of visiting this place last night with my restaurant group and they rolled out the red carpet. From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. There were about 14 of us and although there was 1 server, she handled everything perfectly. Everyone's drinks stayed full and the table stayed with the really good muffins! Needless to say the service was more than good it was top notch. The food! The baby back ribs were tender with just enough sauce. I particularly loved the Mac and cheese and had to order an additional side. Others had different items from the menu and no one left disappointed. I saw the baked potato and all I can say is if you order it be prepared because it's MASSIVE. All in all a great experience and I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you're in the area cause I'll be back for sure!“

“I had the Crispy Chicken sandwich. The chicken was juicy but the breading was way off. It was crispy but it was so salty. The fries were amazing and well done. You gotta dip them in the buttermilk ranch.

We didn’t want to eat too much so I told our server we were going to share the sandwich. The kitchen cut it in half for us and placed it on separate plates. So thoughtful :)“

“Came in tonight for dinner with the wife.Our server was Shu.She was just fabulous! Our meal,was fabulous.We started out with the Wild West Shrimp,which we got a photo of.
Next we ordered the Outlaw Ribeyes.Med & med rare.
Both cooked perfectly.
Unfortunately,as many times we stated we were going to take pics of them,we forgot after they were placed on the table.We were hungry.lol

“We are regulars who come here all the time. Our experience has always been great, but lately it hasn’t been all that great. The manager is rude, she’s this lady who has blonde hair with a weird volume. A couple of times, we have witnessed her yelling at her employees and being rude to customers. She seems pretty obnoxious and unprofessional at her job. One time, we went to go pick up our order, and the door was locked. A kind employee let us in, and we heard her yelling at him and asking why he opened the door. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. She always locks the door when there are still customers going in and out of the restaurant. That’s very unethical. Everything seems rushed because of the manager. The hostesses are kind, the food rocks. But somebody needs to replace this woman with somebody who is more professional.“

“Dinner tonight with the hubby and everything was delicious. We had the spinach dip and spicy chicken bites as appetizers and shared a 9oz filet meal with a loaded baked potato, Ceasar salad and a side of fire roasted corn. The steak was cooked a little inconsistently throughout the filet but was good nonetheless. Everything was wonderful. Special shout out to our server Dava who was so professional, attentive and nice ! In today's day and age it's hard to come across great service and she is remarkable! Thanks Dava !“

“Tannery Ale House hosted a Rehearsal Dinner for about 35 people for our son and daughter in-laws wedding last week. The food was amazing, all the guests raved about it, even days later. We had the Pitmaster buffet and the brisket and the peach cobbler is not to be missed! There was so much food, plenty for everyone and then some... The rustic setting of the party room was perfect and having our own private bar was so convenient. The service was on spot and the bartender was great as well. Thank you Mike Neal and Tannery Ale House for helping us make this a truly special event.“
