“For Father’s Day, my family chose the popular restaurant Olive Garden. One of my family members has a gluten allergy, so it’s hard to go out to eat. Our idea was that they have a fresh, good salad, to our surprise, they do offer gluten-free dishes, and the special thing is that the manager came to the table and told her that her dish would be specially prepared with no contamination. That was so nice of them. We have been to very nice places with upscale food, and it’s really hard to find gluten-free options; and when we do, it’s hard to find a manager who comes to you and guarantees that there will be no contamination. A place that was just good for everybody has now become the top of our list.“

Solid average NY pie. That’s not an insult. Too many pie shops around the ATL metro can’t meet that basic benchmark. This place does. Really happy to say that. It feels like a small local NY chain. Not gonna blow you away with uniqueness to the point where you gotta travel no matter where you are to get it, but it doesn’t need to be that. It is very good pizza and I’m sure it’s probably the best up this way in Dahlonega.

Light and sweet sauce that’s not thick and pasty. The char on the crust and under carriage is good. Right amount of of cheese.
