“You know a restaurant is good when it's busy on a Monday night. Fantastic small plates, both the traditional dishes and the in-house specials. I arrived about 45 minutes before the rest of my party set of the bar and really enjoyed their selection of gin and tonics with their house made tonic syrups. Struck up a conversation with the bartender about their really interesting selection of Basque ciders, which led to an impromptu cider tasting. Those guys really know their craft and are full of knowledge and enthusiasm about the items on their menu. Make sure you order the bone marrow and the Sherry luge!“

“Great service and friendly atmosphere“

“First, we loved Fry's previous restaurant in this location. And miss it. it would have been great if he had kept it and added LS. But the Sparrow is excellent. Easy to park, enthusiastic front of house folks greet you, Epiphany was the best server ever, the food is top notch and it's a lively and fun place. I could live on wine and the bread service alone. When they first opened the butter was like a massive iceberg afloat in a pool of olive oil. They have scaled back on that but gladly bring more. The tomatoes, shrimp and pate starters were devoured. Then we took on the excellent mains. All terrific. Desserts were outstanding. Oddly, the cheesecake was the favorite. It's light, fluffy with kind of a custard feel to it. We had two birthday celebrations which were noted and made special by Epiphany and the team. Thanks.“

“Me and a friend went to lunch and the food was amazing. I had the lamb curry and she had the salmon 10/10. I would also like to note that although Matthew wasn't our waiter, he overheard me mention my water was a little warm and he came over and apologized and explained he wanted us to have the best experience. He corrected that and honestly just paid such close detail to our table for the remainder of our lunch. We were so impressed with him we ended up staying 3hrs — we ended up getting dessert and drinks and invited a couple friends to meet us there just to be apart of the experience. They got the Cajun chicken 10/10 as well. Thank you Matthew! We'll definitely be back!“

“Clearly one of Atlanta's best restaurants. Vassil was our server and he took great care of us. Every item was explained in detail before we ordered and when we were served. The food really is incredible. We shared many plates and everything was spectacular. The beef tenderloin piroshki appetizer and entrees were amazing. You can't get better service in Atlanta.“

“First time going here and we enjoyed it quite a bit. The food was great for the most part, but I didn't enjoy how they prepared the snails or presented them still in their shell. Otherwise we enjoyed everything, especially the French onion soup, white bean soup, brie en croute, cheese selections, fresh bread. The ambiance was lively with a great singer, but there were some obnoxious drunks making fools of themselves in the bar area and that kind of took away from the experience. I would recommend this place and will be back.“

“Had a wonderful experience with my husband at Bread & Butterfly this morning/afternoon for brunch! Food was amazing, atmosphere was inviting and service was impeccable!!! Highly recommend this restaurant and even got to talk directly with the owner/head chef Bill! If you are in the area or even if not make the drive, it will be well worth it!!! Neighborhood where it is located, Inman Park, is very nice as well with lots of walk-ability and less than 2 miles from downtown Atlanta, so make it a day or weekend trip.“
