“We had such a wonderful dinner at Cooks & Soldiers. The ambiance was perfect—warm, inviting, and ideal for a special evening. Daneesha was the best server—so friendly, attentive, and genuinely made our evening feel special. We started with the matrimonio, fried artichokes, and chistorras, and loved every single one. For dinner, we had the branzino with a side of artichokes, which was absolutely delicious. Of course, we had to end with dessert. The Basque cheesecake was incredible, and we also tried the date cake, which was amazing too. Such a great meal from start to finish, and Daneesha really made the experience even better. “First let’s address the parking , they validate only for an hour , but the minimum time to register for parking is two hours, so you’ll still pay something but it’s not much at all. The service was decent. The deviled eggs were a no for me, but the burger and pancakes were good. The mimosas were great and strong which we love , plus it’s the main thing we came for anyway.“

“Had a wonderful experience with my husband at Bread & Butterfly this morning/afternoon for brunch! Food was amazing, atmosphere was inviting and service was impeccable!!! Highly recommend this restaurant and even got to talk directly with the owner/head chef Bill! If you are in the area or even if not make the drive, it will be well worth it!!! Neighborhood where it is located, Inman Park, is very nice as well with lots of walk-ability and less than 2 miles from downtown Atlanta, so make it a day or weekend trip.“

“We had such a wonderful lunch at F&B today! Bamba took amazing care of us—he was so friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating to my friend who was dining with her 6-week-old baby. He never made us feel rushed and even surprised her with a complimentary dessert to congratulate her on the new baby, which was such a thoughtful touch.

I bring friends here for lunch often and we usually sit at the bar (the female bartender is always so friendly too!), but it was such a treat to sit at a table today and have such wonderful service. We really appreciated Bamba’s kindness and generosity. Love F&B and will definitely continue coming back!“

“Zéphyr Southern Brasserie is the restaurant inside the five star Hotel Phoenix in Atlanta, offering an elevated take on classic Southern cooking. I ordered the saffron risotto with globe artichoke, semi dried tomato, and pine nuts, smooth and genuinely enjoyable. The tuna tartare, with cucumber and aioli, was excellent as well, though portions overall ran on the smaller side.

My experience varied sharply depending on the time of day. In the evening, the service was impeccable and Rina was an excellent bartender. Breakfast and lunch told a different story: service was alarmingly slow, falling well short of what a restaurant at this level should deliver. It felt almost like two different establishments depending on when you walked in, there's real room for improvement during the day.“

“Some restaurants are built for a meal; Le Bilboquet is built for an afternoon. Our first visit came on a Sunday, the only day the kitchen serves brunch, and by the time we rose from the table it was clear that this freestanding Parisian bistro at the heart of Buckhead Atlanta’s plaza has mastered the rarest of hospitality skills: making a large party feel like regulars on their first visit.

The welcome set the tone. We were greeted with genuine cordiality at the door and seated exactly as requested, at a table properly suited to a group of our size. That sounds like a small thing. Anyone who has tried to bring family and friends to a popular brunch spot knows it is not. Larger parties are too often treated as a logistical problem to be managed, squeezed into a corner or hurried toward the check. Here we were treated as a pleasure to be hosted.

The room itself announces its intentions. Light pours through tall windows, and the space is beautifully appointed, with the polish of a Paris bistro and an unmistakable sense of excellence and order. Everything is where it should be. For brunch, the brightness is ideal: this is a room that wakes you up gently and invites you to linger.

Then there is Gordon. Every great restaurant has a server or two who quietly become the reason people return, and Gordon is Le Bilboquet’s. He is a master of the craft: friendly without overfamiliarity, deeply knowledgeable, engaging in conversation, and attentive in a way that anticipates rather than reacts. The detail that captured our table came before we had asked for anything. He had a favorite wine already chilled and waiting for us. That is not service by the script; that is hospitality as an act of attention. The team supporting him matched his standard throughout, with plates arriving and glasses refilled seamlessly, never a seam showing.

With a larger party, we ordered up and down the menu, and three dishes stood out. The croque was everything a croque should be, rich and golden and executed with real care. The Cajun chicken, a signature carried over from the original Le Bilboquet on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, earns its reputation: deeply seasoned, perfectly cooked, and quietly unforgettable. The salmon was equally impressive. All three were outstanding in both quality and presentation, and nothing else on the table disappointed.

Perhaps the highest compliment we can pay is that no one ever made us feel rushed. Courses came at a civilized pace, the wine kept flowing, and the conversation among family and friends stretched comfortably across the afternoon. In a city where brunch so often means a ninety-minute table turn, Le Bilboquet lets the meal take the time it deserves.

If you are looking for the definitive Sunday brunch in Atlanta, this is it. Ask for Gordon.

Cavatelli with lamb ragu - Amazing, very generous portion. Flavor was awesome. Cold smoked lamb leg, braised after.

Smoked ricotta raviolini - Outstanding, beautiful presentation. Perfectly prepared vegetables.

It was busy for lunchtime, but Chef Craig still came over to address our table. Y'all need to check this spot out. Highly recommend, and I can’t wait to get back down here for dinner!“
