“My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at Lucian for a last-minute date! It’s truly a unique gem in Buckhead Village.

We greatly enjoyed the peach and cucumber dish and hamachi as our appetizers - the flavors were fresh, crisp, and delicious. For our entrees, he had their rather robust gem lettuces salad and I ordered the duroc coppa - we ate every bite!

The ambience is quiet and relaxed yet lively. We had no issues hearing ourselves talk. The opportunity to peruse their books was a nice touch to an already pleasant evening, with the hostess more than willing to hold onto the book we decided to purchase until after our meal was finished.

Our server, Jerome, was polite, personable, and knowledgeable about the menu, while the restaurant’s sommelier was more than happy to indulge my questions regarding wine pairings.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and definitely recommend Lucian to those looking for a calm, charming, and upscale dinner option in Buckhead!“

“I had a great experience at Vino Volo at Atlanta Airport, and Andrea and Sean were absolutely amazing! They were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Their customer service really stood out.

A few suggestions I’d love to see from a corporate perspective: I think a physical Vino Volo loyalty card that could be used to accumulate points across all locations would be a great addition, especially for frequent travelers. I’d also love to see a Vino Volo on the Delta side of Atlanta Airport—I know I’d visit regularly!

One other small suggestion: it would be great if the staff had access to the TV controls so they could easily put on games or other major events when customers are interested.

Overall, a fantastic experience, and Andrea and Sean deserve recognition for making it such a welcoming stop at the airport!“

Great windows admit the daylight in such a manner that it dances gracefully across polished timber, weathered volumes, and a curious assortment of antiquarian trifles and humble souvenirs. It is, indeed, a room calculated to encourage quiet conversation and agreeable contemplation.

It soon became evident that the proprietors regard the bruschetta with no ordinary degree of reverence. What might elsewhere be dismissed as a trifling repast was here elevated by careful preparation and judicious composition. Which reflected quite an expression of the culinary arts.

Alas, the beverages failed to sustain the same commendable standard. They were presented in vessels ill suited to their intended purpose, a seemingly trivial impropriety which nevertheless betrayed a want of exactitude. Most disappointing of all was the Old Fashioned, a concoction that neither offended the palate nor distinguished itself in the least. It was a drink remarkable chiefly for its want of character.

Yet it would be unjust to measure the afternoon solely by the contents of one’s glass.

For there are occasions upon which the true excellence of an establishment resides not in its fare, nor even in its cellar, but in its singular capacity to afford two companions a sanctuary from the clamour of the world. There, amidst shafts of golden light, shelves of venerable books, and the quiet company of forgotten keepsakes, my lady and I passed the hours in easy discourse before proceeding to hear the songs of Mr. Paul Simon.

And though the cocktails may soon be forgotten, that tranquil afternoon shall remain in my memory with uncommon fondness.“

Staff was very friendly, accommodating, and nice, but we wish we had known that by 11 am on a Monday, they would be sold out of most of their food. The noise level was still low even though they had live music, so we were able to engage in conversation without being unable to hear each other unlike in most restaurants in Atlanta, so that was a plus. The flavor of the sauce itself is just fine. However, the cheese and basil adds to it and comes together nicely and the crust is perfect. “Stopped in to try a guava espresso tonic, one of their seasonal offerings of the moment. It was delicious, the guava taste was prominent and somehow went perfectly with the balance of the espresso on the back end, a perfect riff on an espresso tonic.

They have a wide variety of baked goods here, all with the allergens clearly labeled on a board. There is actually a huge menu here between staple drinks, employee picks, specials of the moment etc. a decent amount of seating between six communal tables, a 5 seat bar space, several two top tables and a couple of comfy chairs. I stopped by in the afternoon and had no problem finding a place to sit.

They, of course have the typical breakfast buffet and the omelet station. They also have a station where you can ask for pancakes, waffles, or French toast. They had grits and oatmeal and a fruit buffet. They also had a hordourve and dessert table, and I love the wide range of selection. Orange juice was deliciously, sweet.

The coffee was surprisingly affordable, and honestly, it may have been some of the best coffee I have ever had! I ordered a white chocolate mocha, and I can truly say it was the best mocha I have ever tried. It was absolutely delicious! The white chocolate flavor was perfect and not overwhelmed by the coffee—it had just the right balance, exactly how I like it.
