“I stumbled upon this establishment while wandering with a friend who talked about the peach cobbler cupcake (uh huh). There was one left. Had to have it. Then I saw the Neopolitan . Had to have it. Then the peach cobbler. Had to have it. I took the peach cobbler home because it was already in an oven ready pan. The server was friendly, engaging, responsive and a natural salesperson who knew what to say to my sugar loving self. My friend had the Strawberry banana pudding which tasted heavenly. The cupcake we split was a party in your mouth as you could taste each flavor. The Neopolitan had to be eaten over three days as 3 bites of its richness and flavors were enough for one day. They are my new addiction! You will love it!“

“Go for the coffee, stay for the mushroom quiche. Theres a certain level of expectation that comes from neighborhood coffee shops in nicer parts of Atlanta, sure. What's not necessarily expected is people who enjoy their job and who serve exquisite morning pastries. This mushroom quiche took a normal morning at a coffee shop and turned it into a memorable occurrence. I will now crave this pastry in the recesses of my mind: it has forever raised the bar for breakfast dining. I recommended to the very nice owners that they keep serving this pastry.

“Nice coffee shop. A little pricey. The service is just fine. We waited for our coffees about 15 minutes. They missed the order or something, I had to go to them and ask where’s the coffee. The employee said “I’m gonna make it now” - after 15 minutes passed. The food arrived maybe 25 minutes later after we ordered.“

“I've been coming here for almost 20 years and am so grateful they are in the Castleberry Hill neighborhood. We are a food desert so to be able to find healthy bread (Dave's Killer Bread) for 50% off and tons of chips at a discount is a blessing. The people that work here are always very nice and super helpful. If I don't see my Killer bread, I ask if there is some in the stock room and they almost always hook me up with the bread I crave. Sure there is plenty of processed junk food here but you do have some healthy choices. They also take Apple Pay and most credit cards so don't miss out on this hidden gem across the street from Atlantucky.“

“This was my first time visiting this bakery. The prices were reasonable. I bought a few pastries but there was a bag of salted caramel donuts that I purchased that I wasn't pleased with. When I got home I saw that they were past the "best by" date. Then when I went to open them, I discovered that the bag was ripped down the side and the donuts were hard as rocks. I threw the whole bag away. I'll be paying closer attention if and when I visit again. The cashier was too preoccupied on his phone to even look up and make eye contact. The customer service was lacking unfortunately.“

“Cakes By The Pound and More will be my go to bakery going forward! She was professional, delivered on time and was so easy to work with. The cake delivered on design and taste! My daughter didn't think the cake was real because of how great it looked. My family and friends are really judgmental and they LOVED the french vanilla cake. Normally pretty cakes are dry and not edible. This cake was moist (and the layers were thick). I'm also not a big fan of fondant but this is the best tasting one I've ever had.“

I tried the caramel oatmeal cookie and it was by far one of the best cookies I’ve ever had. I referred to them as “violently flavorful” as I immediately bought some for myself. I got the chocolate chip cookie and the biscoff cookie the Biscoff cookie had a creamy not too sweet but not bitter taste to it and tasted even better when slightly warmed.
