“I came to give you an excellent review. I place my order via GrubHub, and it was a seafood platter. I would like to say I am here visiting family and I have never heard of or tried this fastfood chain before, I am just speaking on the food for itself. My seafood platter was made right. I was skeptical about ordering seafood from a chain and having it delivered but I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. The fish fillets are fried crispy and the Captain D's sauce was a great pairing. The shrimp were small but the taste was still good. The stuffed crabs are mostly breading but there is crab meat in there and seasoned very well. My sides were macaroni and cheese, green beans and 2 hush puppies. They were mid but still edible. I would still give this place 4 stars for the food.“

“I visited around 11:09 AM, right at opening time. From the outside, the place looked closed, and when I went in, the staff didn’t seem very cheerful or energetic. As someone who’s soft-spoken and has social anxiety, it was a little hard to get their attention at first, but thankfully I didn’t have to repeat myself too much, and ordering was quick and easy.

I was torn between getting General Tso’s chicken and beef with broccoli. I prefer my General Tso’s on the spicier side, but when I asked if it was spicy, I didn’t get a clear answer. So I went with my safe choice—beef and broccoli—and I’m glad I did! The vegetables were fresh and still had a nice bite to them, not soggy, but full of flavor. The steak was decent, kind of gamey, so I’d give it a 6.8/10.

I ordered the lunch special but substituted the rice for lo mein (not sure what kind they gave me), and it ended up being the highlight of my meal! The noodles were flavorful and had a great consistency. Even with the substitution and a drink, my total came to under $15, which felt like a great deal.

Overall, the food was tasty and fresh, and I’d definitely come back again!! Next time I’ll try something new, maybe even the General Tso’s if I can get more info on the spice level!“

“my friend and I had the best time and split the crab cakes and salmon BLT and the drinks were perfect too. everything was amazing and we've decided to make it our pregaming spot before masquerade shows! “This was my daughter and I second time eating here. Being away from home (New Orleans) we’ve missed out good ole seafood. It’s been really hard finding a place to match our taste buds,lol. But AGAIN! They did NOT fail! The seafood boil is amazing. Lobster tail was a really nice size (unlike other places), and the seasoning was AWESOME. The staff were nice and made sure we were good. “We wanted to give this place a try and figured we’d walk the Beltline afterward. Parking’s a bit of a pain, but we managed to snag a spot at a little park nearby. The place has a lively vibe, with lots of patio seating and a few tables inside. You order food and drinks in separate lines, though we noticed some people grabbing drinks while ordering food. Once you get your food from the window, just find a table, sit back, and people-watch. All in all, a fun spot for fried seafood and a drink or two.“

Hush puppies were fair. I needed lemon and cocktail sauce. Didn’t want to pay extra for cocktail sauce. My plate came with a creamy tartar sauce. I desired more fish and green vegetable options on their menu. No vegetables in South Atl food desert. I chose catfish of the options presented. I’m thinking a fresh fish place should have snapper, grouper And some other fresh fish/whole fish. potatoes were great and coleslaw was decent as I appreciate the quantity of everything. It was delivered fast. I could order from this place again and get the same thing but I want to try more fresh fish options,(grilled fish also) different than tilapia, etc.. and some quality vegetables other than broccoli. I could see a four star given for those reasons but because my fish, which is the main item, was fresh tasting/good old-school fried and perfect seasoning with the fries and the price was great. I think a five star for what I ordered is deserving.“
