“The food I always fresh and hot. Very good on majority of the things I order. The only thing I’m not to crazy about is the catfish fillets. Only because they have the after taste that doesn’t leave a good taste behind. I know catfish is the most commonly fish that’s usually unwanted. Simply because of the slimy texture under the crust when fried, and stringy-ness. The strongest smelling fish as well. But I have came across a couple of seafood restaurants that fry catfish, and it doesn’t have that aftertaste, surprisingly not slimy texture either. But over all I like all their other foods. Especially their Swai fish. Not many restaurants serve Swai fish.“
“Been thru a few times and always order bone in wings with general tso sauce crispy It’s not really a thing in their system but they have accommodated me each and every time. I’m no Keith Lee but they always done right by me. Food fresh, place clean and tidy, owner always helpful. Check them out.“
“A friend told me about this place. I had a taste for rasta pasta, and they did not disappoint. It's made to order so expect to wait for it.I also tried their jerk chicken rice, and it had a nice flavor to it.Great staff and service.They also make there own homemade sorrel, Irish moss, peanut punch, soursop juice, etc...“
“What a fun night. The Optimist is a wonderful place to celebrate an event. The staff helped surprise the award winner with champagne and a congratulations sign on the table, and continued making his night throughout dinner. Started with raw oysters and octopus. Loved the spicy honey on the octopus. Shared the apple and blue cheese salad with a friend and another had the she-crab soup. Then entrees, a lobster roll, mahi-mahi and halibut. Sides were cauliflower and hush puppies. All plates were clean. I do wish my mahi-mahi had a bit more flavor. The best part was dessert. The chocolate pudding cake was to die for. The staff out did themselves with the presentation.Kid-friendliness: They have a small outdoor putting green for kids.“
“I went in with high expectations and O-Ku exceeded every single one. We had edamame and the variety of sautéed mushrooms, which were so delicious to start. We ordered the black magic (HIGHLY RECOMMEND), spicy tuna roll, A salmon roll, yellowtail sashimi, uni, and tuna sashimi. “We really enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and food.The “Hot & Easy Sticky Chicken” was a great, and the spiced fish sauce made the appetizer even better.The another highlight of this meal was the Bon Ton Rice Bowl. I initially ordered the chicken Adobo but after my seeing/tasting the Viet Meatball bowl brought to our table, I asked our server if I could swap to this choice. He quickly updated the kitchen of my decision change.Will definitely be dining at this establishment again, and again‼️???“
“Enjoyed my experience. Andrea and her trainer Dexter I believe his name was, wete very attentive. My food was delicious albeit the salmon with capers was a bit salty but overall I enjoyed. The only thing I would say is there were two young employees at the host booth in which the young lady was playing in another employee’s hair to pass the time.“
“This was our second time having dinner at the Panola road location in a week. The service was great both times. We were seated by a man who introduced himself as Grey, the GM. Wow!! he was so friendly and he took our order with ease. He knew the menu and made great suggestions. The music was a bit loud and he turned it down for us. I told him that I was going to give him a great review. I'm a week late but I had to let the web know about the wonderful experience that we had dining and being served by Grey. Thank you.“
