“I came to give you an excellent review. I place my order via GrubHub, and it was a seafood platter. I would like to say I am here visiting family and I have never heard of or tried this fastfood chain before, I am just speaking on the food for itself. My seafood platter was made right. I was skeptical about ordering seafood from a chain and having it delivered but I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. The fish fillets are fried crispy and the Captain D's sauce was a great pairing. The shrimp were small but the taste was still good. The stuffed crabs are mostly breading but there is crab meat in there and seasoned very well. My sides were macaroni and cheese, green beans and 2 hush puppies. They were mid but still edible. I would still give this place 4 stars for the food.“

“I visited around 11:09 AM, right at opening time. From the outside, the place looked closed, and when I went in, the staff didn’t seem very cheerful or energetic. As someone who’s soft-spoken and has social anxiety, it was a little hard to get their attention at first, but thankfully I didn’t have to repeat myself too much, and ordering was quick and easy.

I was torn between getting General Tso’s chicken and beef with broccoli. I prefer my General Tso’s on the spicier side, but when I asked if it was spicy, I didn’t get a clear answer. So I went with my safe choice—beef and broccoli—and I’m glad I did! The vegetables were fresh and still had a nice bite to them, not soggy, but full of flavor. The steak was decent, kind of gamey, so I’d give it a 6.8/10.

I ordered the lunch special but substituted the rice for lo mein (not sure what kind they gave me), and it ended up being the highlight of my meal! The noodles were flavorful and had a great consistency. Even with the substitution and a drink, my total came to under $15, which felt like a great deal.

Overall, the food was tasty and fresh, and I’d definitely come back again!! Next time I’ll try something new, maybe even the General Tso’s if I can get more info on the spice level!“

“my friend and I had the best time and split the crab cakes and salmon BLT and the drinks were perfect too. everything was amazing and we've decided to make it our pregaming spot before masquerade shows! “This was my daughter and I second time eating here. Being away from home (New Orleans) we’ve missed out good ole seafood. It’s been really hard finding a place to match our taste buds,lol. But AGAIN! They did NOT fail! The seafood boil is amazing. Lobster tail was a really nice size (unlike other places), and the seasoning was AWESOME. The staff were nice and made sure we were good. “I’ve come multiple times and it never disappoints. Keep in mind the menu changes with the seasons. I had the Breaker Breaker bowl with Blackened Grouper. The fish was a touch over cooked so by the end it was too tough. Too many pepitas in my bowl for my liking but otherwise I loved it!! I need the recipe for the coconut rice!! All of the bartenders are great!!“

“Food is always fresh to order and well seasoned. All the staff are super nice and will answer all questions. Restaurant is always clean and well maintained. There are fresh vegetables you can purchase in large fridges along with drinks, etc. you can also purchase frozen seafood from large freezers they have as well. Upon getting my total… the math wasn’t mathing by an extra $6+. I’ve been coming here for years but recent they now charge a 3% credit card transaction fee. Typically places pass along the cost by adjusting their prices but this, it’s another way to pass along your costs to your customers. This will make be think twice about coming so I’ll be looking for another seafood spot sadly. Just be prepared to pay the transaction fee that was not automatic which can add up on large orders, even small even your hard earned dollars are spent.“
