We were introduced to this place at the Ellijay Farmers Market and their blueberry scones are hands down the best scones I’ve ever had. Already planning to go to their storefront location before we leave town to get another one!
All of the bread from this shop is wonderfu, especially the ciabatta and mountain rye -- except the gluten free loaf. For $10 you get a small hard lump of dense "bread" that has no flavor, weird color, and a gritty texture. Totally not up to the standards of the regular bread, and they really should remove it from their offerings.
Best Authentic Bagel in Ellijay! I've eaten bagels all over the USA and the everything bagels from High Mountain Bread are delicious! I also purchased an Olive Bread and it was also really good. I highly recommend High Mountain Bread for Fresh Baked Bread. Heads up -they close at 4
