After several years I decided to give Subway a try again. Huge mistake. It's hard to believe this location is veteran owned based on on unorganized it is. At 630 on a Thursday night they were out of roast beef, provolone cheese, green peppers and even Diet Coke. I had to repeat each topping several times to the employees. They were in no hurry that's for sure. My recommendation is if you want a quality sub in Ellijay stick with the Ingles deli or make the drive to Jasper for the excellent Jersey Mike's.

Place was nasty.bathroom was gross and always out of soda .tea was nasty and old.employees were just standing around .sandwich wasn't made right.

I always have a problem in this location, once was that they didn't put black olives on both sandwiches, today was that they were out of syrup on their soda machine. It is insane how clearly the employees don't care, they should take a little more time to check that everything is ok, small details that make a huge difference. I am not going back to this location ever again.

Friendly staff but that's about it. I was the only customer at the time. Around 2:00 PM. Every table was dirty. Rest room had not been cleaned in what appeared to be days. Yes, it was this bad.

When I'm rarely in the mood for a late night sub, one woman always comes through. I'm not sure of her name, but every night I go, she's there. She is always extra generous in her manners, and goes out of the way to make sure I have a delicious sandwich. The service and food quality makes it one of my favorite spots for a bite before bed.

Every time I come in the store lately the same woman is working, and she is probably the best employee I’ve ever been served by at this location. I feel bad I can’t remember her name (especially because she remembered mine tonight) but she has brown hair that is always pulled back in a small bun or ponytail. I’ve come in on a busy holiday weekend and she was there (alone!) but she was fast and friendly as always. Even when there have been other employees there, she always seems to be working the hardest. I just wanted to say thank you to this employee for always being kind and professional, even when I have witnessed other customers be not so kind for no reason. Keep up the good work!

The young lady who made our sandwiches did an awesome job. She washed her hands and while doing so greeted us friendly and quickly. If it had just been her this store would have gotten all 5 stars from me easier then anyone ever.. What happened next disgusted me. A coworker came out from the back touching her hair and checked the temperature of the meatballs with no gloves and not washing her hands first. She went back to the back and came out chewing something (so she's eating while working and I'm guessing not washing her hands...) and puts a tray of bacon in the line (which had no dead pan in it to keep the line from getting to high in temperature)..again no gloves... then she came out and opened a oven door again no gloves. Then comes carrying out trays to put in the oven again with no gloves.. still chewing... puts them in the oven turns around not washing her hands and puts on gloves to take a gentleman's order behind us. As a general manager of several restaurants over the years I would have fired her on the spot. Simply because touching something containing raw foods and dough then not washing your hands and using gloves to make a ready to eat food item is cross contamination. That can cause food born illness and make anyone who comes into contact with what she's touched sick. I was only there for a few minutes and witnessed several things that go against health regulations for handling ready to eat food all by this one girl. I most likely won't be back to this location.Edited the same night as purchase and original reviewSadly and against my better judgment I decided to try to eat my meatball sandwich. It tasted fine so we continued eating. Now it's a little after 11pm and I'm sick and probably going to be sleeping next to this God forsaken toilet until whatever this is is over. Thanks for taking your customers well being into such "high consideration"... I'll definitely not be going back.Subway is all we have eaten today. There are zero other reasons for this. It is ridiculous. This establishment needs some serious help.

I am only giving 3 stars, not because service was bad or food was bad. Megan is an amazing lady, who works very well under pressure. She doesn't stop and the food is precise and amazing. However, everytime I have been over the last several months she is alone. I get it everyone is short of help, but where is management? This sweet girl deserves help even if you have to put in some time!!

One worker had a bad attitude. when i placed my order she didn't hear me so i repeated it a little louder and slower so she would understand and ln a very starcastic tone she replied okay twice as jf i did something to offend her. in my opinion that is not the way to talk to a customer.

There is poor management. Left there employees hanging when they were asking for help and she yelled at the other employees from the door saying that she’s worse than Carmen in front of me my 2 friends and about 5-6 other people. Idk who Carmen is but she seems cooler the little angry manager walking out the door. The people working were great just feel bad for them cause of poor management. Bad management = angry employees = not happy customers. Let’s get it together Megan Mears and treat people right.

I guess Subway in East Ellijay closes at 5pm on Sundays. I walked in to someone telling the emoyee at the counter they had one minute, the employee stating it was time on the POS, and being ignored and glared at like I was intrusive. If in fact Sunway does close at 5, so be it, just inform me. As it was I didn't dawdle, as I heard the employees exchanging vulgarities in the back. No thanks.

Every time we place a order they tell us there out of every thing then allways for some reason tells us there out of veggies I hope they get help to help them out I love eating here but it’s getting to the point where I will not be ordering there for a bit
