We enjoyed the views and service. As for the food, we ordered an array of appetizers and they were just ok. Nothing special and the price was a bit high for what we got compared to some other spots. What we really enjoyed was what our secret password got us AFTER.

Every time I come to Ellijay Ga , I have to stop at this amazing restaurant. The views , the food and the atmosphere are all 5 stars. I love the Country fried chicken but the pecan Trout is amazing the fried Tomatoes , everything is so good.

I cant describe how amazing everything was. We ordered the fried green tomatoes, and empanadas for starters. Everything came out hot and delicious. My husband ordered a burger and I had the country chicken everything was delicious and served so quick. Can't wait to come back, Portion sizes and service were top notch!

Absolutely loved The Roof! We shared just appetizers on our visit but they were so good! The onion rings are so delicious as were the fried green tomatoes and bologna sliders. Will be returning for sure!

We visited The Roof Ellijay while on a family getaway. As many mention, the views are some of the best part of this location. Looking over downtown and the surrounding mountains make for an enjoyable atmosphere that is at least worth checking out. The food, unfortunately, left a lot to be desired. I ordered the steak frites, which lacked seasoning and overall flavor. The fries were disappointing. Chicken tenders were a bit overdone and dry. Everyone in our group had an average-at-best experience with their meals. However, the service from our waitress, Faith, was fantastic. She handled our larger group with patience, stayed attentive throughout the meal, and took time to recommend things to do in the surrounding area.

Came in during the off season in the middle of the week for supper. it was great. Busy but not packed. Plenty of people having a great time. Sat at the bar and ate. Awesome drinks and food was great also. Definitely going back.

I ordered the grilled salmon, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The restaurant's atmosphere was pleasant, and the view was nice, but the chairs were uncomfortable for a relaxing dining experience.
In my opinion, I would not recommend this place if you're looking to enjoy a great meal, especially with someone special. The best part of the experience was the view and the opportunity to spend time with the person you're with, rather than the food itself.
