The Olde Courthouse Tavern is known for its delicious food at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is made magical by Liz, while owner Larry and his welcoming staff, including his daughter, make visitors feel like family. They are even pup-friendly and offer special treats for furry friends. People come here for the burgers, but the newly added Cajun food is also highly recommended. The red beans and rice, gumbo, and limas with sausage are incredible and hard to find elsewhere. The fried shrimp is also really good. Many visitors enjoy the great service and friendly bartenders, who talk to guests and encourage them to return for live music. Customers often praise the excellent mixed drinks and top-shelf beer, though some wish there were more beers on draft. The restaurant is a good spot to sit, have a few drinks, and enjoy quick service. Parking is easy, just about 100 feet from the bar. While most food is praised, there was an isolated incident where a customer found the lemon pepper wings unseasoned and seemingly spoiled. Overall, the service, sweet tea, and food make it a popular place to visit.
