“First time at El Taco Jalisco. Food, service and atmosphere are awesome. Waitress was helpful in our menu choice. They have breakfast too. Very authentic food, but not super spicy. There is a spicy sauce on the table. Few tables and a few booths. They get pretty busy at times. Check the website for hours.“

But what offended me was their version of huarache. The left photo I took from “their” photos. Which I will say I am impressed for their consistency. Because I ordered my huarache with a side of salsa picante. The next photo is what a real huarache is suppose to look like and tastes 100% better.
Let me leave the audience with this tip. If you’re going to act the part for the lead role at least repair for the part. If you fail, take it off the menu or do something else.“

“Tequila Mama advertises Half price house cocktails on Thursdays but when we went and ordered House Margaritas the check comes and they are full price. We ask to speak to the manager and he is all snobby and just says "For us Margaritas are not a cocktail". Ok well for the rest of the entire world Margaritas are a cocktail and your special doesn't say anything about exlucuding it. So these guys are dishonest jokes. If I have anything to say about it we won't be back.“

If you're in the Oakwood area and craving some Birria Tacos, TIO LOCO is worth a visit! This nice little spot is tucked off to the side of the BP gas station on Hwy 53 (beside the COOKOUT), right off 985. The address might say Gainesville, but for me, this is Oakwood.

The Birria Tacos here are solid—juicy, flavorful, and sure to satisfy your taco cravings. They of course have your other menu items that you may want to check out, but I've been on a birria kick for a while now ? It's definitely a spot to check out if you’re nearby!

Ordered a plate of nachos for me and my daughter, which was delicious and a bowl of cheese dip which was great, but the large cheese dip costs $13.75 . Lol. I will never order the large again. It's basically the same price as my entire meal, which was $14.25 . I was expecting $8 maybe $9 for the dip, but I guess I should've actually looked at the menu.... The only downside is that the experience is not what you get in a dine in restaurant. The food court has about three tables located to the rear of the Chevron service station.

Parking: You may not be able to park in front of the store front at all times because of the very limited parking, plus the other adjacent businesses make access a inconvenient. Very busy lot.“

LOADED with refried beans, pineapple, country fried thin steak, lettuce, tomato, avacado, jalapeño, and panela cheese. SO GOOD!Very friendly staff. Google says they're open until 9pm. We showed up just before 8. We realized they were closing after we ordered, but they were super friendly and not annoyed at us. All the staff wore masks, and wore them PROPERLY. Very happy about that. We don't live in Gainesville, but we will come back!!“

Friendly staff and the restaurant is decorated really nice after the remodel. Michelada was also DELICIOUS. Will be going back!“
