“I stopped by here yesterday afternoon and ordered a Birria Burrito, let me tell you that burrito was absolutely incredible. I stopped back in there today ordering two chicken and two steak tacos… again absolutely incredible! This place is a must, you will not be disappointed.“
“Being born and raised in Mexico and now residing near Chicago Illinois, Little Village Lao known as Little Mexico, I’m always looking for authentic Mexican food when I travel. I’m in town to see my boyfriend nd asked him for a good authentic Mexican restaurant. He’s Panamanian and doesn’t really eat Mexican food, I know, how is he alive lol jk. I went on google and searched, read reviews and found Tacos El Poli, as usual I was right. I’m able to tell not by the reviews but by the pictures and the menu, and the pictures here didn’t do it justice. Service was excellent, our waiter was super nice. As we were ordering, he mentioned tortillas were hand made!! YESSSS!!! I definitely recommend this place and will for sure come every time im in town. Even my boyfriend who las had Mexican food five years ago like the food. Thanks Tacos El Poli. We had tacos, because it’s what I was craving, they had quesadilla de flor de calabaza which was delish and grilled peppers and grilled cactus. Made me feel like I was in Mexico or back home in little village where they have so many authentic Mexican food restaurants.Kid-friendliness: They do have a full bar but the ambiance is also kid nd family oriented. I would bring my kids.“
“Our family loves to gather here, whether it's just us, or others join us for a big group. The food is always great, and the staff takes great care of us. Tip: the smokey "brown" salsa is out-of-this-world!Vegetarian options: Just had a vegetarian bowl last time I was here that was SO good!Parking: On site parking has always been available for our lunches, but there is a public lot close by, just in case.Kid-friendliness: This is a very family-friendly place, perfect if one has kids!“
“I judge the local Mexican restaurants by a few things that determines if I'm gonna have a good time or not. 1. I avoid the chains. 2. I tend to look for smaller locally run places. 3. The restaurant is a little hole in the wall, with wooden booths from the 90s, and those little archway window openings, and hand made art all over the place, with mariachi band music playing on the PA. This place delivered on all fronts. It was our first time going there, and we just were in one of those "we want some mexican" moods, and I just picked the first place that was close by that met the criteria above, that looked like it was reasonably priced. The reviews looked good and off we went. This place exceeded our expectations on pretty much every level. The staff were kind and attentive. My glass never came close to being empty at any point, the food was hot, delicious and massively portioned. My pregnant wife was very full, and she's eating for two! Our server whose name escapes me at the moment, but he was wearing a puffy red Marty Mcfly vest (extra points for that btw) was super nice and chill, and just kept the whole experience the vibe we wanted and were after. He even offered us to go Mr. Pibbs which was appreciated. We will definitely be back.“
“Food was definitely filling! Great quality, great taste, truly enjoyed. We had the Carne Asada and Chili relleno burrito, filled with beans, cheese, and some fresh lettuce… The shrimp, chicken, carne asada nachos were amazing. Perfect amount of cheese.. tasted great. To be repeated!!“
“El Indio is a wonderful establishment for people looking for good quality Mexican food. Although it does have it’s negative including the parking and sometimes overcrowding during the midday rush. Overall, I think El Indio’s is a good Mexican restaurant with reasonable prices and a wonderful staff.Ordering food at El Indio’s is usually fast is easy unless they have rush of customers. It is very obvious the restaurant was not built to serve a large number of customers, during times like this it is quite difficult to place your order and even header to receive it at a reasonable time. Leading to customers receiving their food cold or sometimes made wrong. Another wretched difficulty customers have when visiting El Indio’s is the packing. The is very limited parking in front of the restaurant leading customers to have to park in front of other businesses or behind the building. All these negatives can however not defy the fact that El Indio’s has some of the best Mexican food in Lawrenceville. With a large menu full of different tasty cuisine like the birria taco, carne asada tacos, mulitas, mongo juice and so on. Not to mention the food is always freshly cooked using fresh ingredients. The prices of these menu items are very affordable and quite reasonable.El Indio’s has some of the best customer service I personally have ever experienced. The staff keep the building clean and tidy. They are very friendly, usually having bright smiles and using polite language. The staff honestly go out of their way to make customers feel welcome and comfortable. This quality customer service could be because El Indio’s is a family business that usually hires locals in the community and pays their employees well. This family business serves it’s community by providing good food at affordable prices. With the positives outweighing the negatives El Inndio’s deserves a 4 star rating.“
“We stopped here for lunch. The service was amazing…The food was seasoned very well, the portion size was plentiful. My sister and I truly enjoyed our lunch. We don’t stay in the area, but if we come back on this side of town…we will definitely stop here…DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED ☺️☺️“
“2023 update: place has gotten even better, I come here and the service still is great and so it's the food. Try the enchiladas de mole, the gorditas de chicharrón.The food is so good, the tacos may be cover in lettuce but don't fool yourself, all this is deep fry and no amount of lettuce and salsa will make this healthy.“
“I have made Frida’s my place to go for Mexican cuisine because it’s 10 steps above the run-of-the-mill restaurants that are in Lawrenceville area. I bring ALL my friends here so they, too, can have authentic Mexican food. Please, if you have that “I gotta have my Mexican cuisine” fix, try Frida’s … you’ll go no where else afterwards. I promise!“
“This is by FAR my favorite place for Mexican I've ever found. The Jalapeno Shrimp tacos are quite possibly my favorite thing I've ever eaten. Rice & black beans are amazing too. The pineapple margarita is the best margarita I've ever had.“
“Outstanding tacos! I have been for breakfast twice (they open at 9am). I got tripa tacos that I always order extra crispy but the majority of taquerias still don’t actually crisp it up. This place DOES! And they’re delicious. The lady who took my order was very nice. Also got horchata both times, which was tasty but on the sweeter side. Ordering it with extra ice helps with the sweetness. It is inside of a market with lots of produce, groceries, and specialty meats. Definitely worth checking out!“
“Alex is so wonderful and sweet!!! This was my first time at Lolita’s and the vibe and experience was so dope! Alex is so patient and welcoming as he took his time to explain the menu to me. The food and drinks were so amazing and i would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a great time and excellent food!!!!!“
“We typically travel outside of Gwinnett County for flavorful Mexican food but took a chance on Rustico. We were greeted by the owner (I remember his face because I visited this restaurant a week after it opened) and he took us to our table. The owner is very involved (host, seating guests, re-arranging and bussing tables, etc) which is a huge plus in our book. The food was flavorful, the service was great and my wife (who is from Southen California) really enjoyed the meal. We ordered fish, steak and chicken tacos and a chicken burrito without the cheese sauce (cheese sauce must be a Southern request because it is not present in Mexican food in Southern California). Our boys order chicken tenders and fries and loved it.As long as the quality of food and service is consistent with our experience today, we will continue to frequent this establishment. Thanks for the great experience Beto and team.“
“ we have been here a number of times. The service is great. We love the cocktails. The appetizers are amazing. There are many times. We will just have a bunch of appetizers for dinner last night. I had the churrasco steak which was amazing.“
“I had an amazing time at Tacos & Tequilas Mexican Grill! I wasn’t sure on what to get for the first time visiting, so I got the Street Tacos(they were a little dry but the lime really helped provide some moisture to the meal). For the drink, I got the Mango Agua Fresca but the Hibiscus one is so delicious! The Street Tacos come with a side of Mexican Rice and Mexi-Beans. My group and I had an amazing first-time experience here at Tacos & Tequilas Mexican Grill! Definitely coming back to try the churros!Dietary restrictions: This restaurant is perfect for pescatarians! They offer a range of delicious seafood options alongside other dietary choices.Kid-friendliness: This restaurant has a lively atmosphere suitable for families and younger crowds, with kid-friendly menu options.“
“Service and atmosphere was lively. Food was very delicious. I ordered Pastor and Asada tacos. I would have rather the tortillas been hand made, but it still tasted great. I would go again.Kid-friendliness: They have a great deal on their kids menu! It’s a combination of Mexican and American food. My kids loved it!“
“The service and food was good. The salsa had a peculiar taste that was fabulous. I plan to go back soon. The Mi Casa special had all the delights, Chalupa, taco, a great tamale, enchilada, chili relano, rice and beans. I found it tasty and priced right ?.“
“Chicken Burrito is so good!!! Husband wasn't feeling the cheese dip but I thought it was good! Takeout package was nicely set ! 4 stars because of the straws which are cardboard so by the end your straw can be consumed, falling apart or just soggy from the liquids and salsa was ok. But pineapple water was delicious!! Overall it's a good neighborhood spot! Came 4 years ago and went back.this year !“
“I recently had my garage door replaced by them, and I am thoroughly impressed with the expert installation. The team exhibited a high level of precision, ensuring that the new door fits seamlessly and operates flawlessly. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship are truly commendable.“
“First time here and won’t be back. I ordered birria quesadillas and portion was small. I felt it was overpriced. 3 tacos plus a tiny container of consomé. $14. The consomé was a little salty.Ambience was nice. Price vs portion size is what makes me not want to go back. Service was ok. Waitress was more attentive to other tables. Getting the check took too long. She was just talking too much with others.“
“Checked out this place after hotel checkin across the road. Place was busy for 9:30 on a Friday night. They had a 1 man band playing and singing Jimmy Buffet like songs. Service was great. Chips w/ salsa great. Fish taco was spot on. Drinks good too.“
“Really good tacos!!Fairly wide menu variety.Staff checked-off all the "great restaurant" boxes -- very friendly, very helpful & still professional!EXTRA KUDOSI was ordering takeout for 8 & the staff were kind enough to enter the order person-by-person, by name, and then they wrote everyone's name on the ~15 different containers! And guess what? Not 1 single mistake!!“
“Food was very good. I enjoyed the burrito. The staff were very nice, I called to make an order and asked questions. The employee that answered the phone was very sweet and even asked my name so that she could recognize my name and make sure my order was correct. Will definitely order again.“
“Good value and decent tacos. I wanted to try the birria tacos but they didn’t have any available. Generally al pastor has more flavor than asada when I order from other places but that was not the case here. I was slightly disappointed with the al pastor because it could be more flavorful.“
“parents been coming here since i was born , the service is always amazing and the employees even remember us ? !! the food always comes out hot and fresh and the wait has never been long ? been here so long i remember the paintings around the restaurant “
“OUTSTANDING my favorite taco place my FAR I live an hour and half away but if I’m craving authentic mexican food THIS IS MY PLACE the cutest place love how the place is decorated bring back memories cute for pictures as well and the waitresses always make me feel at home 5 stars no “
“2nd time coming. Food was delicious, the best enchiladas I've had in GA besides a place in Plaza Fiesta, and trust me, I've looked. I had Enchiladas de pollo con salsa verde, my friends got nachos and sopa de pollo. The waitress was nice and attentive. Drinks were delicious, we had pina colada, margarita, & paloma. Food/drinks did not take too long either. We sat and talked for a while. They didn't rush us, which was nice. We had ordered desert after settling the tab, and it was amazing!“
“Delicious and authentic Mexican food in the area!Well seasoned, not dried out meat fillings.Tasty margaritas.Attentive staff.Only issue was that I did NOT notice the “automatic tip” of 12% until after we departed, so they got a *substantial* total tip…“
“I was so excited to try the quesobirria tacos from here but they were a disappointment. They lacked flavor and they were really dry. The shrimp and steak nachos were great however I also ordered a mangoada and that did not look like the picture AT ALL and it didnt taste as well as I thought it would. This place sounds like a hit or miss in my opinion.“
“I work just down the street from them and order food at least once a week. I get the tacos or yummy fries and man it always hits the spot. Tacos come with 1 lime wedge per taco and they are topped with a solid layer of fresh chopped onion and cilantro and they include a salsa verde and a salsa Rojo. 2 soft corn tortillas per taco like it should. It's just good authentic Mexican food and I'm so happy they're close to my job.“
“I googled for best Mexican food and this place came up. I was a little hesitant as I was actually expecting more of a restaurant style establishment. Do not judge a book by its cover! This little intimate spot served up the tastiest, freshest dinner ever! MUCH more than we expected is what we experienced… the service and attention to detail has not been surpassed!“
“Had this food catered and it was excellent. Had plenty of food the chicken fajitas, cheese enchiladas & chicken enchiladas were great. The condiments salsa verde, pico de gallo the guacamole were freshly made etc. Turned out great! Thanks so much to the staff and kitchen crew especially the excellent customer service from Ana S. ????? A+“
“Finally marked this spot on my DTL bingo card and it was definitely worth it. The vibe is great and feels modern and classy. Great date night spot. The braised short rib dissolved in the mouth and had a unique flavor, the chicarron was flavorful and crispy, the sangria was refreshing, and the fresas con crema was a light but fresh ending to the night. We also had tacos, which were ok, everything else was so exceptional that is felt like the “chips and salsa” of the restaurant that you pay for. There are better and cheaper tacos elsewhere, I wouldn’t come for that. Also the flan was average, slightly overcooked and not silky smooth but I’m a flan snob so I noticed it. But everything else was so good that I’m excited to go back!“
“Came in here for dinner with my Fiancée. Mariela the bartender was very sweet and made us some delicious drinks and even cut the coconut from one of the drinks down into tiny pieces to be consumed after. It was very good. Catalina the manager was also very sweet and offered good recommendations on food and it was authentic and amazing! Great place for Family’s to eat.“
“This place has the best authentic food! The tacos are even better I have it a four star because trust me if it was not for the food the guy cooks which he knows what he’s doing I would not come back. His attitude is HORRIBLE LIKE A ZERO. He’s just rude. But if it wasn’t for his cooking man this man can cook 10/10 ???“
“Even with the slight language barrier they provide great customer service, high quality well seasoned food all at a reasonable price . Plenty of flavors to choose from and smiles to go around. Please stop by and support them, you won’t regret “
“They catered my daughter's birthday party and it was such a hit! Everyone loved the food!! They gave us big portionsEveryone ate the guacamole and said it was so delicious! It was for about 30 people. Everyone loved it. Great food, great “
“Now this is as good as it gets!!! Where else in the area can you get such a quality experience along with the most authentic flavor you’ve fallen upon. Tripe tacos y’all!!! CRISPY AND TENDER, YOU CANT GET THIS ANYWHERE ELSE. Highly recommend this place!!!“
“The food was great and the atmosphere was very nice. It was not busy at all when we went but for some reason I had to keep looking for my server . Lol... I want to point out one napkin is not enough to wipe when eating here, the food is just too good for one napkin. ?“
“Hidden gem! The Al pastor is my favorite! The pork tacos had a lot of flavor and was in the sweeter side but delicious with the hot sauces. The beef taco was tough to chew my first time trying it but will give it another try next time. Overall a great place for tacos near us.“
“The pollo burrito is the best chicken burrito I’ve ever eaten! Between the size of it, the consistent taste each time I have one, & the savory hot chicken blended with the cool sour cream. They always give it to me how it’s supposed to be. Much appreciation for the team that cooks them whenever I order. It’s perfect if you have a small appetite or kids, you can split it in two & it can practically be a meal on it’s own. If you eat larger portions like myself, it always leaves you feeling full & satisfied.Highly recommend the Pollo Burrito! ?“
“The hostess seated us at a dirty table, so we had to stand and wait while holding a car seat. It's fine, just slightly inconvenient.Food was just okay.Service was slow, but we were there on a Saturday night.Three of us were eating and we only got a small bowl of chips. No offer for a refill until after the food arrived.Open mic night was a really fun addition.Parking situation could be better.“
