“Shogun is a typical hibachi restaurant. The chefs put on the normal show with fire on the cooktop. Food is consistent - we don't come often but it seems pretty much the same from visit to visit. The filet and chicken is my favorite with excellent fried rice and vegetables. Lunch on weekdays is a good deal and the best time to come. If you enjoy hibachi then give Shogun a try.“

“Pizza and sandwiches were great. Had 6 of us there and we left with our bellies full! I personally had the Papa's Beef Sandwich. It's a great twist on the original beef out of Chitown. They bake it with Cheese.(the owner's grandmother made them that way) or so we were told. It was big and definitely beef from the north. The bread was oustanding as well. The offer sweet peppers and even have the hot giardineara that you simply cannot find here in GA. Great service and a nice clean place with sports on about 10 tvs. Authentic Chicago and a cozy place to dine at.“

But what offended me was their version of huarache. The left photo I took from “their” photos. Which I will say I am impressed for their consistency. Because I ordered my huarache with a side of salsa picante. The next photo is what a real huarache is suppose to look like and tastes 100% better.

We also had a Chance to talk to the AG (Assistant Goddess) Pam, she remembered us from our past visit-months ago, and was both cordial and helpful. We DO NOT forget good staff. The food was all on point, my Avocado Eggs Benedict was terrific with a good amount of Cheesy Hollandaise sauce and perfect poached eggs. Deanne's omelette was terrific, so was her pancake --she said. Bill's Crab-Cake Eggs Benedict was just right. The food, facility, and service is top notch. It’s in the heart of the Mall of Ga area and probably the best Chinese food in the area. Their only competition is PF Changs at the Mall, Peking House near Kroger on Peachtree Industrial, Eastern China near Publix on Peachtree Industrial Road, and Chen’s on Hamilton Mill. Nonetheless, it’s the best for authentic Chinese food. Not over seasoned and perfect for guest looking for home cooking!

We had Shrimp fried Rice, Pepper steak with peppers and onions, and their hot and sour soup! Absolutely delicious!

Our host was Jenny and made sure our dinner was quick and perfectly prepared.

“Save your money….. conveyor belt oven on pre-made crust, flash frozen sausage like dominos. We were so hoping to have another option for a real NY style pizza. The place is real nice and the staff were all attentive. While eating our pie, the wife and I were discussing the appearance and taste when one of the managers visited the table. It was our first visit and I complemented them on the staff and atmosphere. While chatting, I asked about their ovens. I mentioned that I had been in the pizza business in the past and I recognized that the crust had not been cooked on a hot stone/pizza oven. The manager said yea we use the conveyor chain ovens to keep up with the volume. We then discussed the sausage that was revealed to be flash frozen. Upon further observance and looking at other pies coming out, it appeared that the crust may be pre made as well. We notice no bubbles or irregularities the are usually found while doing hand tossed. Conclusion. Atmosphere and staff are great, but the pies? If you want an inexpensive pie with frozen inexpensive ingredients settle for the dominos pizza and save yourself a good bit of money.“

“We were in town visiting friends and got a gluten free pizza from here and would 100% recommend! My son has celiac disease and when I called ahead of time to ask how the pizza was prepared the woman on the phone was very helpful. They cannot guarantee no cross contamination but explained they would make it in the back separate from where other pizzas are prepared using ingredients that are separate from the ones they use on their main line. It’s cooked in a separate metal pan, glove change/washed hands, etc. She verified the toppings we wanted were all gluten free. I felt comfortable with these precautions and the pizza was delicious. “Yes and No! I live very very close to B&B.. And have gone for ladies night, happy hour and to hear my favorite artist Stephen Lee and band.. but lately it lackluster. One of the managers ( new white dude) was very rude when we walked in… We enjoyed ourselves ANYWAY and tipped the waitress WELL.. I always make reservations and request to be seated in the lounge ( when Steven Lee band performs) with no problem. Last evening for Motown night I made reservations for my two girlfriend’s three days in advance was never told about a $75 per person charge just to go into the lounge. I Called to confirm my reservation last night and that’s when she told me about the $75 per person. We happily went somewhere else. So my yes and no response is go when there’s happy hour and ladies night but when there’s a theme, night, just know that they will apply $75 per person. I think my B&B days are over because I’m #woke to their shenanigans now.“
