“Sunday Brunch was really good. Chicken was seasoned well and waffles were light and fluffy! Owner had an awesome spirit about her. Music and atmosphere was on point. Our waitress was a swertheart,, I forgot her name but she had a boot on her foot! My son loved his rasta pasta... and he hates everything!!!!“
“Been coming here for years! I love that there is always something new to try - rotating specials, drinks, etc - and sometimes on the weekends the have live music. It feels like you're tucked away in a European cafe, it's one of my favs :)“
“Absolutely fantastic spot! Creative and delectable dishes at surprisingly affordable prices, and delicious craft cocktails served up in an intimate environment. If I have one complaint, it's their seating policy. They don't take reservations and they don't have a hostess, so when you show up, you're competing with others for the next available table. It's...suboptimal. Nonetheless, definitely worth checking this place out. I'll certainly be back, but probably on a week night to avoid fighting fellow patrons for a table.“
“I’ve been here multiple times before it was closed down for a year and always order the same thing which is the fried lobster and French toast and it was always consistent and had great taste. Unfortunately, the fried lobster I’ve ordered after the re-opening was not full of flavor and the recipe wasn’t the same as it was before. I was very disappointed in the taste, it was extremely difficult getting the lobster meat out. With the old recipe from a year ago, the fried lobster was already pulled out and seasoned to perfection. This time, the seasoning was minimal and bland. However, the atmosphere was still amazing as before and they even had a DJ, the servers were well accommodating. The other issue I found was that their server asked for my zip code to process my payment which I found extremely weird because she said I had a chip in my card and it didn’t allow it to use tap. Overall, I give my experience a 7/10, I prefer the old menu and recipe before the restaurant was shut down a year ago. Drinks are still good thankfully!!“
“I had company in town on Christmas Eve and we were looking for somewhere with a nice atmosphere, food and drinks. I appreciate them being open and giving great Customer service on a holiday. There’s about 18 bar seats, a few low top tables, few high tops, couches in the middles and a few velvet, plush booths in the back. Out front there’s tables, but it isn’t the season to sit outside, great when weather permits. I like that there’s a different vibe for different guests. You can have a corporate meeting at a table, date night in the back in one of the plush booths or a group of friends on the couches. There was a limited tapas menu and we chose olives $8, pizza $8 and tuna tataki $14. Our drinks were $12 espresso martini and $14 cocktail. I took away 1 star for these things: we went to sit in the back in the booths, but it’s in front of the restrooms. We didn’t want to sit there and just see people coming directly in and out the restroom making eye contact ?. I’m recommending a velvet curtain, saloon door, beaded curtain, that area would be more tolerable. We moved immediately. At the bar there was clean, good looking bartenders, who were friendly and drinks were delicious. The olives we ordered took 20+ minutes to come out. I asked for it and it came out before the other items ordered, but I did think that was long for already marinated olives. When they came I loved them, So good! The pizza on naan bread and lightly seasoned tuna were both ok/mediocre. Tolerable and we ate it. Overall, I was satisfied with the atmosphere, drinks and service. I also appreciate that they gave us somewhere to go on a night mostly everywhere else is closed.“
“Awesome experience! It’s a bit chilly tonight but we were sat around multiple outdoor heaters and the fireplace. They even offered blankets! They always ask about dietary restrictions which I really appreciate. All of our food was amazing, especially the patstas brava- go to! And the meatballs. The servers we had were friendly and offered us the bread service, as well and came back to the table regularly to check on us and add more tapas. Love this place“
“Came in Thursday for their soft opening night and had Faith as our server, she was very attentive and knowledgeable while still being new kudos to the staff training them so well. My family and I are so happy it’s back opening! Thank you Faith and thank you Hawkers for making our experience lovely.“
“Deja was our server and she was great! All the food and drinks were 5/5, and so was the service! They had a live band and although it was a $5 surcharge, the band played really good music! We are from out of town, and on our way to the airport, but we will definitely come back when we visit Atlanta again! Thank you so much for a positive experience ✨️.Parking: Parking was across the street and a short walk, but very convenient“
“My boyfriend picked this place for my first tapas experience and I enjoyed the experiences a lot! We didn't make reservations for a Saturday night so the wait time was 1hr but the hostess said that we were welcome to grab drinks from the bar. Luckily, when we got to the bar, a couple left and we were able to get our seats immediately at the bar. It can get super busy but the wait time for each order is very quick (10-15mins per time). The sheep's cheese is bomb.com (they only gave us 2 slices of bread but my friend said that you could request for more bread since there was a lot of cheese). Will definitely come back here for more.“
“Nice little place inside the Grant Park Market. The market has a loyalty program and after so many dollars in purchases, you can redeem your points for a percentage off your groceries or for items on the Gather menu. You order a the counter and they bring the food out to you. I got the steak & cheese bagel with my points and also coffee, waffle and chicken sausage. All the food was delicious and the service was wonderful. I’ll be heading back to try some of the lunch items.“
“This is a really nice spot to sit and enjoy the scenery. There is a tremendous view of the runways and the airport in general. I would imagine that in the daytime you may have a decent view of the test track right down below this area. The night we went was a bit blustery and we expected it to be cold on the roof, but it was not. Really not sure how they are heating it, but it worked out nicely. The bar is stocked fairly well and the drinks were good, not stingy. The bar does serve some food as well. There is a restaurant downstairs that one would assume you could also order from.It rather goes without saying that the spot is a bit expensive but don't really feel it should be unexpected given the location and quality of the amenities and so forth. The spot is quite nice and was full of others enjoying the area. The bar at the upstairs closes 'early' but the area stayed open and accessible for hanging out.Keep in mind that if you come just for the bar, it is paid parking. If you are guest of the attached hotel then your room card allows egress.Totally worth going at least one time for the exceptional view.“
“The Xhale bar and grill in Forest Park, Georgia has exceeded my expectations. I was extremely impressed with the hospitality shown by the owner and his wife. I give the food a 10/10. I especially enjoyed the ribs and the chicken egg rolls. Highly recommended.Parking: There is plenty of parking. There was great music inside and the place was clean.“
