“I want to start by saying we’ve eaten here A TON as mango sushi. First trip with the new owners….Took over an hour to get 2 orders of noodles and 1 order of vegetables, they are very under staffed, 1 cook and 1 on sushi, so that’s fair.….Food tastes great but Half way through eating one of us pulled a very long blonde hair out of her mouth… we both stopped eating because gross. We get it, it happens, we are all human. HOWEVER, the guys at the table next to us had the same problem with the rice right after we ordered drinks. Now, Normally at a restaurant a manager would have come over and apologized and would have made it right, nope. She sent our waitress back over to apologize and told her they were taking one side of noodles off our bill. $3…. We still tipped our waitress well, she was sweet and nothing was her fault. This would not have happened with the old owners.“

“While the atmosphere is charming, the front end staff ok-to-good, and the food looked good, my experience was somewhat less than this. I will give them the benefit of the doubt this time and try them again someday. I’m bothering to leave a review because I know it is important for restaurants, especially, and not doing so helps no one… We, perhaps, challenged them today by having a party of twelve, however, a well organized team would have risen to that occasion. Our food was late, forty minutes late, arrived piecemeal, and mostly cold. Most just accepted this, I did not. Though my entree looked ‘ok’ it was cold. Greasy, cold, over cooked potatoes are not something you serve, ditto a breakfast burrito. Teamwork among the staff seemed lacking. Our server seemed to lose us in the fray. Today was a cool day, breezy, yet in spite of that the place was wide open with garage doors up and we had to ask several times to close a nearby door that was repeatedly propped open by staff. I spoke to a manager regarding my entree but it apparently did no good, as I never did get the fresh hot entree she promised and bummed a slice of pizza from someone in our party. I’ll be honest; the pizza was good! You eat even cold pizza when you’re hungry… As I said, I will try these folks again in hopes of a better experience.“

“We were very impressed with Public House. It was crowded and we were sat at the bar on a long bench with two top tables so it was cozy. Now that I think of it, I feel like when I made the reservation it asked if you wanted bar or outside...but didn't ask if you wanted the restaurant. I would have preferred the restaurant. That being said, the noise level was as you would expect in a bar but not too bad. The salad was really good and really large. We could have split it. We tried the devil eggs and they were tasty and creamy. After those two, I was full, but still had two small plates to eat...chicken livers and beets. The chicken livers were the best I've had out. (I know, they're not for everyone!) I'd order them again if there weren't so may scrumptious items on the menu! The leftovers did heat up well in the air fryer :) And the roasted beets and goat cheese were perfection. My husband had the flounder special and said it was excellent. We would definitely go back.“

“First time at Mean Jeen’s today! Oysters with the pineapple mignonette were *chefs kiss* Po’ boy was slammin. Boiled peanuts were worthy of the sketchiest gas station that has the highest yelp reviews in the state (if you don’t know, that’s the highest praise). The owner took care of me, she’s a queen. I most of all suggest the batched white tea shots. They come in cute little airplane bottles (green tea shots are also available). You won’t regret a single thing you have here, but the best part was the vibe. 12/10 stars. Do recommend.“

“YUM! I’m a salad snob, but found Harry’s Blue Cheese and Apple salad absolutely delish! A great mix of salad, fruit, and nuts. I added grilled salmon which was grilled perfectly. Their portions are large … enough to take home. Win/win.

Their menus had lots of choices to fit anything you have the taste for, and their cocktail picture book was awesome! I had the Pixy Stick cocktail and it was one of the best drinks I’ve ever had. We splurged and got the A5 Wagyu appetizer and it was hands down the best steak we’ve ever tried. For our meals, my husband got the blue crab linguine and I had the cheeseburger with street corn as the side, both were amazing! Our waitress, Melanie was so sweet and made our first time there a great one! We weren’t going to do dessert but she insisted we pick one as complimentary so we picked the Moonpie Martini and it was delicious! I’ve already told my husband that I want to come back in April for our anniversary because it was that good!“

Fantastic little spot. The staff are fun and enjoy chatting as much as we do. The people coming and going were all smiles and talkative too. Everyone’s so friendly and supportive. We see a child running down the stairs as a grandmother was attempting to chase her. Another mom leaped up out of no where to catch the kid, her and the grandmother laughed and chatted for a bit. Then parted ways. There’s no scenario at The Downtowner that won’t make a Frein’s here.

The food is worth it, the drinks are pricey but great (per the norm, haha). Our last night there was $62. That was two Private Barrel Makers Mark and cokes, and two strawberry daiquiris.“

“We’ve eaten at Drakes, Chattanooga, since it’s opening and never been disappointed until today when a customer brought a dog inside to the inside “patio” seated at the table next to us. The dog was hyper and the man kept scratching it. Next a female joined him and began scratching the dog. The waiter reached down and also scratched the dog. Next time the waiter came by, the dog jumped up on her and again she scratched the dog. We asked to move inside to an empty booth. After we moved the man brought in another dog. Why were dogs allowed in the restaurant? They were NOT service dogs.“

“Welcome to the sushi bar of the South! The sushi here was the BEST sushi that I have had since moving from New York! Here, I felt like I was at a sushi bar in mid-town Manhattan. I never had authentic ramen before and I ordered the spicy crab ramen. It was so good. I don’t like an “over-powering” spice, but a medium “kick” so you can taste that spice is “there.” That was exactly what I got! It was a “perfect” blend of spice and the crab was tender, flavorful, delicious. I would recommend this ramen dish! Service was 5-star! Felt completely catered to! Ask for Annika. You will be happy you did. She is amazing! I cannot wait to come back to Two Ten Jack!“

“great food and drinks! we went out for my birthday dinner. we had the tropical Margherita and frozen blood orange swirl, and they were the best drinks we've ever had at a restaurant. the Philly burrito and the spicy burrito were phenomenal, and the churros were so good I will ask for those over a birthday cake any day. absolutely 100% recommend and we will definitely be back.“

We were given option of a two seater right between the only two occupied tables in the dining room or a two seater against the wall near the restrooms. Given it was early I thought maybe the 4 seaters were all booked but at end of night they were still fairly empty when we left.“

“423 Taco is one of the best Mexican restaurants in town in my opinion. The food is very good, has great flavor, the atmosphere is authentic, and service is prompt and consistent. It's also very reasonably priced. Plenty of seating.

So many other Mexican restaurants in the city with food that has none to very little flavor.

Parking can be the only issue but that is downtown in general - not anything to do with the restaurant which is why I took no stars off.“

“Pretty good. Not overly crowded, but there was only one waitress. She was good but a bit overworked so difficult to get things just right or timely. The dressing for the Caesar salad is very anchovy heavy. My husband liked it, but I could not eat it. The crabcakes were delicious. We ordered a side, but it never came. We had a lemon coconut dessert and it was flavorless; neither one of us ate it after the first bite. I guess the crabcakes saved our whole experience because they were quite good.“
