The atmosphere is very chill and neat. It was not too busy but was loud ( acoustics, I guess)The ambiance and design of the place is super cool. Not your traditional steak house.Drinks are on point. Dirty martini ? with blue cheese … yumm. Palmetto cheese fried green tomato sliders delivered.Steak, although look’s delish, was overcooked ( we ordered mid rare( it was a well done). Overall- I would recommend!Parking: Hit or miss… if you find the spot around the square you are lucky. If not there is a large parking garage close by.

Great drinks, fun atmosphere have a night life area upstairs! But the food is the best. I believe one of the owners personally came up and made sure everything was going as great at it truly was. Can’t wait to be back for this new menu. The lamb was 10/10

Outstanding filet and grilled shrimp. Sides were delicious. Service was the best we’ve had in any restaurant in a very long time. Great all around experience on the square.

We ate there there today, wings okay, no celery or carrots, had to wait 5 mins for ranch dressing. The 6$ Draft Beer was not cold. I ordered chicken tacos and onion rings, they were not hot, I ate 1/2 of a taco and a single onion ring, sat the plate on the table next to us, the Owner and Manager walked by and nobody said anything. I ordered a second beer, it never came, they took it off our bill. Service was so bad. This was the third time we have been, Probably the last.

Just had the best wings and food for date night. Seriously, this new menu is incredible. Jason the bartender was extremely intelligent with not only the drinks but the food as well.Can’t wait to come try more of this menu

We love to eat on the square in Gainesville and chopBlock is our favorite spot. The burgers are truly the best around. A huge 8oz pattie always cooked to perfection. The staff is attentive and friendly, especially Leksi and Kayci. Oh, we don't want to forget to mention Jason. He is always around making sure you get the most fabulous dining experience. This is the best dining experience on the square, try it and you will agree.
ChopBlock has the absolute best burgers around. The staff, especially, Leksi, Kayci and Jason are super friendly and attentive. You cannot have a bad meal or a bad time here. Best time for us to go is lunch time. Huge leather booths and a nice quiet atmosphere. Add in the quality and tasty food and you have a winning combination.

Bartender was severely rude and kicked us out of the restaurant. Asked to use the restroom before the rest of the party arrived and the bartender said " restrooms are for patrons only so leave!!" So I left, told my party to meet at Iron Age in Alpharetta. Owner can enjoy a consistent loss of business from a bartender who wants to be police man!!

Don't waste your money or time on this place. Worst food I've had in years. The food has been mediocre here each time, but today it was absolutely terrible. Won't be returning.

First visit was over three years ago and it was terrible. Was invited to go back past weekend with some friends and we were quite impressed. Obviously the new owners are on point. The place is much cleaner, the servers were very attentive, and the food quality was high. I had the wings and fries, my wife had a Caesar salad with grilled chicken, our friends had a cheeseburger and a chicken salad sandwich plate. All of it was very tasty. And the beers were ice cold. We will definitely be back.
