I called to inquire about walk in canvas painting. And the woman I spoke with was very rude with absolutely no willingness to help with questions I had. I felt like I was bothering her. First impression was a complete fail on their part. I will never go to this establishment.

My partner and I were in Gainesville for business and went to Cork It for drinks before dinner. As I have familial ties to the brewing/ distilling industry, I am admittedly unschooled in wine beyond the basics of white/ red and simple food pairings. Eager to step outside my comfort zone, I ordered a wine and mispronounced the variety. While this lead to a bit of a socially awkward situation, ultimately, it was handled with much grace and a bit of education all around.The drinks are chilled, the ambiance lovely and the owner's care for his business is admirable.

We're huge fans of their delicious Charcuterie, deviled egg spread, and pimento cheese. Those loaded toasts are a must with unique combos like fig jam and pickled onions. Specials on weekdays rock, and their loyalty program is a winner for free treats. It's the perfect spot to chill and enjoy music. And if you're into wine, Cork It is the place!
