I’ll start by saying I checked the menu before arriving. I knew what I wanted because they catered a lunch at my work so I wanted to try it for myself and really was looking forward to the Mac n cheese. First I ordered a bbq sandwich combo with Mac n cheese as side and I thought all combos come with a drink but my order did not. The brisket was tender, well sliced and flavorful, and a nice portion on the sandwich.
The fried chicken livers were cooked perfectly and the appetizer was large enough for an entree.

The barbecue here is really impressive! The ribs were outstanding, and I loved the variety of sauce options. The collard greens could have been cooked down a bit more, but the seasoning was spot on. The baked beans had just the right amount of sweetness. I deducted one star because the oysters needed to be charbroiled a little longer. Next time I visit, I’ll be sure to ask for them to be cooked longer.
