I delight in every meal at Sweet Magnolia's where the selections are endless, and FRESH. The owners consistently welcome me with genuine gratitude of being in each other's presence. My favorites are the Turkey Reuben and Cobb Salad On one cold day I had a grilled cheese sandwich and chili - superb!

Really cute place on the square for a nice lunch. The vibes were small town and the food was delicious! Love supporting the classics, highly recommend your lunch here! Loved my potato shrimp soup, sooo good!

I’ve been all over the country and eaten a lot of sandwiches, and I can say without a doubt that I had the best sandwich at Magnolia’s Cafe. I got Magnolia’s Club, and WOW. Delicious flavor in every bite! Good ingredients, prepared fresh, and even using fresh bread! Quality shows here. Such a pleasant spot in Gainesville, too!

Very unique sandwiches and sides
Atmosphere is fine, nothing special but adequate. Would like more outdoor seating in the shade.

I live in Flowery Branch but recently took over Auto Fitness in Gainesville and I have been looking for a place just like Sweet Magnolia's. When my daughter visited me for lunch I thought we would try it out and I am so glad that we did. The minute we walked in I thought the place looked great and felt so clean. Made it to the counter and was told that it was family owned an everything was made fresh. We were made aware of the specials, the bread and the soup of the day. I am a Rueben sandwich nut and it's so hard to find a really good, authentic one and they nailed it. Fresh corned beef the right amount of sauerkraut and the thousand island was perfect. My daughter got the Cuban and it was also made to perfection. I understand the importance of word of mouth and reviews and if you haven't been to Sweet Magnolia's you've got to visit, you won't be disappointed. Now that I have found them, it will be my go to when I am craving something healthy (great salad menu) or just a fresh sandwich. Oh, the potato salad was so fresh and great as well. Thanks to this great place for changing the way I will be experiencing lunch, I'll be bringing members of my team here weekly as a reward for their work. Looking forward to coming back. Oh and it's worth circling the square multiple times to park close however I'd walk from the parking decks. Pete Bowbliss manager Auto Fitness Gainesville.

Seems to be the popular local spot for lunch on the square… not sure why. Food was bland, service was lacking and unorganized

I ordered take out from here and although it was fairly fast service, it was a bit confusing on how the take out process worked in the restaurant. The food was ok, it was tasty but the portions were fairly small. Not a bad place, but not great either.

I got the mocha coffee smoothie which was the best, tasted very similar to Starbucks without any frills. The avocado salad and 1/2 sandwich were flavorless. Very bland. Sandwich had a piece of avocado and Cucumber, no cheese. The salad came with what tasted like the thousand island dressing. No other special flavors. Not worth the money.

After reading the reviews, I wanted to give Sweet Magnolia a try. Now I realize I am from NY, but ONE slice of Turkey, did they run out? The sandwich and salad were tasty, but $15.00 later I shouldn't feel hungry already!

Ordered a coffee and a bacon/egg/cheese croissant sandwich. They spelled/said my name wrong, which is fine, but like, awkward because it’s a fairly common name. Instead of a coffee, they gave me an americano. I probably would have ordered a different drink if they had told me they didn’t do drip coffee, but I saw a drip machine directly behind the register. They were also out of half and half. The americano kind of tasted like ash, but I guess it wasn’t “bad.” The sandwich was fine, nothing special.
