I can’t compliment the staff at The Stag enough. We hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner on Thursday night and they executed to perfection. Avalon was a great host and the upstairs event room was beautifully elegant and perfect for our bride and groom. The food was great and selection of drinks were perfect for everyone. Avalon kept me up to date with where the open bar tab was at throughout the event which I greatly appreciated as we had a budget and she ended it below the spot...
Really enjoyed lunch there! I went away from my normal type of choice (steak sandwich), and had the buffalo chicken wrap with fries. The wrap was really tasty, and the fries had an extra flavor on them that was excellent. My wife had the ham and gruyere sandwich which was so good! Looking forward to trying the dinner menu.
The Stag Chop House is such a gem on the Gainesville square! The location is perfect, and the atmosphere feels upscale without being stuffy. Perfect for a date night. The cocktails are incredible (seriously some of the best I’ve had), and the steaks were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Overall just a great experience start to finish. Can’t wait to go back!
