“I recently visited the Applebee’s in Griffin, Georgia. Overall, my experience was decent. The food was good and met my expectations, and the restaurant has potential.

However, the building could definitely use some attention and maintenance, particularly the ceiling. There are areas that appear to have experienced significant water damage or leaks, which takes away from the overall atmosphere and appearance of the restaurant.

I also want to mention that the older manager was pleasant and nice when interacting with customers. However, I did observe her micromanaging staff and speaking to employees rather harshly in front of customers. As a customer, it can be uncomfortable witnessing employees being reprimanded publicly. I believe addressing staff privately and respectfully would create a better environment for both employees and guests.

Other than those concerns, the restaurant was decent, and the food was satisfactory. With some building improvements and a more positive approach to staff management, this location could provide a much better overall dining experience.“
