“We really like waffle house. I. Our trips to the states they are a solid point an the agenda.
And then we went to the waffle house in Grovetown. Which was the best waffle house we have been till now.
Great service, quality food, clean, tidy and not at all ragged down.

My wife wanted raisin toast. But it was not on the menu. When ordering I told the polite lady that my wife takes a waffle, because there is no raisin toast. "Of course we serve raisin toast, sweetie" was the answer.

“Great food and great service and friendly staff. Ate there this morning and had a great waitress. Saw something that bothered me while there today there was a man and woman who were at a table in front of me. After eating their meals the man laid a five dollar bill on the table for a tip and went to pay the bill. The lady at the table reached over and took the five dollar bill and put it in her pocketbook. That was totally foul on her part. To the lady who took that five dollar bill you know who you are!!!“

“I have lived in Augusta little over a year and I happened apond Sunrise Grill while I was looking for some place to have breakfast 😋 what a fine...the food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly, I will definitely make this my go to place whenever I want a good breakfast ,thank you Sunrise Grill you made my day“

“My wife and I stopped by to get breakfast in between doctors appointments and though the restaurant was extremely busy we were lucky enough to get a CLEAN booth right away!! The manager and his cook were both on the grill knocking orders out super fast with the waitresses and waiter busting there buts taking care of the customers not missing a beat!! We received excellent service-super delicious food and were out of there in less than 30 minutes!!! The managers name was Steve and he and his entire crew were absolutely amazing!! Thank you Waffle House for having such a great team at this location!!“

“My first time going, and the customer service was amazing. The atmosphere was spot on. I got the French toast with cheese grits. I'm from the south so when you somewhere you expect the cheese grits to be blah... BUT NO.. Their cheese grits had so much flavor they were amazing. And the French toast was soft and moist even after the butter has been sitting on it for a second. 10/10 highly recommend. Best breakfast ever😋🥰🩷🫶🏾“

“We all love the WH and we know exactly what to expect. The food is fast and predictable. What I wasn’t ready was the automatic 20% added cost for prep and tip on carry out orders. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about tipping and tipping well for excellent service but when a fast food business starts adding compulsory fees to bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, things have gotten out of hand. I guess McDonald will start adding drive through fees next.“

“WAY BETTER THAN WAFFLE HOUSE OR IHOP, This restaurant doesn’t get enough appreciation. Everytime I come here it was always a blessing and a great time being there, recently when I came here, there was this really nice waitress named Lauren who’s extremely kind and courage and just a really sweet lady. The food is really solid and great as always, the people working there are really nice and really cool, the music that was playing is so solid, and the place is just reminds me of the time in the 50s where people used the diner as a hangout area to eat and just hangout after school. DEFINITELY A RECOMMEND! Great Staff, Great Food, and we really really REALLY need more waitresses attitudes like Mrs Lauren cause she is just so sweet and so kind, Lauren if you’re reading this Thank You For Your Kind Attitude & Lighting Up My Morning Mood! “I recently visited my local Waffle House, and it was a delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and engaging, making me feel right at home. Their upbeat attitude and quick service truly enhanced the visit, creating a fun atmosphere that is hard to beat.

I decided to try their “all the way” waffle out of curiosity, and while it was certainly indulgent, I might have gone a bit overboard with the toppings! It was loaded with sugar and flavors, which made it a bit too sweet for my taste. Lesson learned—next time, I’ll stick to a classic waffle!

Despite that small hiccup, the overall experience was fantastic. The diner was clean, and the food came out quickly. I appreciate the consistency and comfort that Waffle House provides, and I’ll definitely be back for another visit. Just maybe a simpler waffle next time!“
