“We visited for lunch just as they were opening at noon. I had the bacon cheeseburger and my wife had the turkey bacon ranch sandwich.
The burger was very thick and had an amazing taste. My wife enjoyed her sandwich.
My in-laws split the club and said it was very good.“

“Best French Dip sandwich I've ever had!!! Potato skins were delicious. Everything was fresh and hot. Seems like a locals spot, TV's everywhere. Smoking is allowed but wasn't terribly strong smelling. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back every time we visit Helen.“

“Overall, we had a good experience. The restaurant had a cool look. The potato pancakes were good- crispy on the outside. They had a hint of flavor, but needed more. It was great with the apple sauce. The pretzel was fluffy and soft with very delicious cheese! It was so cheesy and had a distinct taste. I think in general our problem was the good was bland. My husband had the chicken sandwich and said it was good- the flavor coming from the burnt parts. I got the beef roast- it was good, but it was slathered in gravy. The carrots and potatoes needed seasoning. My son got the chicken schnitzel. It was soggy. The mashy potatoes had a good texture, but needed seasoning. The spaetzle was also soggy- maybe that's how they are supposed to be? I don't know much about German food, but maybe this is how it's supposed to taste?? We went back a second time and sat in a different room- there were no TVs and the lights were super bright so we got out food to go. The pretzel was just as good. The french onion soup was okay- probably better there. The mozzarella was not was stretchy/stringy as I remember. It also might not have been mozzarella- not sure. We also had a piece of German chocolate cake. It was good. The cake was moist and the cream was thick with coconut and nuts!“
