I've been coming here for the past 10 years when I travel to Helen. But the food is different, not like it used to be with the old owners. There is a better German restaurant in town that has been consistent over the years.
Great experience. Excellent Beef roast! Service was perfect. Food brought out fast. Everyone was nice and helpful. Really made our Helen trip a memorable one. Sipping hot tea by the river

The food was ok for me. I had the schnitzel, but the sauce wasn't as good as I've had at other places, so it was a little disappointing. It was kind of a butter sauce, maybe?Potato salad was excellent, service was good, and the atmosphere outside on the patio was nice. The restaurant was closed for private party on the inside, but we had a guy playing the guitarand singing outside. Great spot for a beverage on the water!
