“Whether I order lunch, or a blizzard, I'm always met with a friendly, pleasant experience. I love all of the possibilities, that you can build your own blizzard ice cream cup with ! My personal favorite thing is to put in chocolate chips and cookie dough, in with the rest of my mix ins !“
“We really enjoyed our visit. Our waitress was super polite and extremely attentive. She recommended pizza or the Little Italy. I went with the Little Italy. All 3 of the items were excellent. The alfredo was made from scratch and my shrimp was cooked perfectly. The lasagna portion was small but you do get 3 items and I was full after eating my meal.I gave 4 stars on atmosphere because, i thought it was awkward how close to the tables you had to squeeze through to get to your table that was near the inclined ramp area. It's a nit pick but people will stare as you try to squeeze by. That is the only thing I found fault with.I would definitely recommend this place and would go back if I ever visit again.“
“Hit and miss. Some days staff is on it and the food is on point. Other times front counter is ignored and the food is so so. YmmvParking: Easy to get blocked in if you park near drive thru. Recommend driving around drive thru to the other side.“
“I don't generally bother reviewing fast-food establishments. But my experience at the Hiawassee McDonald's was so good that I thought it a shame not to share. I got there right at 10:30 on a Sunday morning and they were still serving breakfast. I ordered your basic Egg McMuffin meal. It was as good as any that I've ever had in 40+ years. The Egg McMuffin was piping hot and fresh. Simply delicious. The hash brown was so hot that it almost burned me. The coffee was perfect. I ordered at the kiosk but the lady who served me my meal was a delight. Top marks to this McDonald's franchisee. This is how Ray Kroc would have wanted it. I worked in store management for McDonald's in the early-80s. So I know how it's supposed to be done. Kudos to Hiawassee!“
