“Husband ordered the Walnut chicken salad that came on a bed of lettuce with Mandarin oranges and I ordered the shrimp bisque soup with Walnut chicken salad, and if you order the soup they give you a smaller portion of the chicken of the salad.
Found a place to be very unique brick walls. You walk in and sit down and they come and serve you. The restaurant is very clean and very unique looking.”

“Our family stopped in twice for dinners at J. Leonard's in Blackshear recently and had a delicious dinner both times. We met the owners who were great, and our server, Anna was wonderful and very attentive to all our needs. The prime rib and crab soup were especially great and highly recommended. Anna also worked the bar for our after dinner drinks which we enjoyed tremendously along with her cheerful and pleasant demeanor. Do yourself a favor and check out this gem of a restaurant located in Blackshear.”

“Had a taste for bbq so I went over to Blackshear to give Ernee’s bbq a try. It was my first time being able to catch them open so we got a variety of different meats.

We got a brisket sandwich, a rib plate that came with two sides ( I chose what was recommended by the cashier and that was green beans, and Mac and cheese), and we got a pulled pork sandwich(not pictured with the Ernee sauce on it. We also had 2 large Jumbo lemonades. We paid roughly $39 for all of this.

The ribs were very tender, and falling off the bone. I could have used a lil more seasoning(my personal preference) but they were amazing…And I topped them with a mixture of Ernee (sweet) and the Avant (mustard base) sauce 9/10
The brisket sandwich was tender, full of flavor, and went well with the toasted bun 10/10
The pull pork sandwich was one of the best pulled pork sandwiches we’ve had in years 10/10
The side of green beans…OMG I can tell somebody grandma is cooking those.. they had bacon pieces in em and was cooked to perfection ( the lady at the counter told me she bet I had probably never tasted any green beans like those, and she was right!! They were really good and I can’t wait to get another helping of them! 10/10
The Mac and cheese.. it was more white than yellow (I prefer more yellow Mac and cheese) but it was better than I expected.. I don’t think it was baked, but it was very creamy and delicious. 10/10
The lemonade—- homemade and even had the lemon seeds in it! 10/10

The customer service: we waited a while to order,(another customer was ahead of us).. but that was ok..because it was beautiful out and we were able to enjoy some fresh Georgia air. The young lady taking our order was very knowledgeable of the menu, gave recommendations, and was very nice! The more seasoned lady (I think she’s the cook) was very pleasant and smiled throughout her entire interaction with me! The prices were great and I couldn’t eat half of my food..

I will def be back and if you haven’t gone over there please run across the bridge to blackshear for some really really good bbq!”

The cupcakes were not only beautifully done but also delicious—every single guest was raving about them! “This is THE cleanest BK I’ve been to! The bathroom was immaculate, except I think the soap had beeping watered dow; however, it wasn’t empty. The food was prepared with care and was good, prepared correctly. Great job! The staff was very friendly and eager to serve.”

“Don’t order online or curb side pick up!! I’ve tried it 2x and both times it was down. They have deals/coupons for online/curb side, but again it’s not available when you arrive. I went thru the drive thru and they wouldn’t accept the online coupon. Cheeseburger bun was hard as a rock, fries and chicken nuggets were cold and soggy. Spent $14 for a all around terrible experience!!! Very disappointed, especially with what’s going on right now. Get it together. Serve hot, fresh food and don’t offer curb side/online service if you cannot provide this service!!!”

“I live in Blackshear, have for a long time and the food is good, there's folks asking for shrimp at a restaurant with a sign that hasn't been repaired in years, and they're are asking for low quality shrimp. I got pork low mien, and it was good, it had enough oil to have the US invade my plate. I still had an ok plate, my dad had sesame chicken, that was way better. Look at the sign, look at the interior, expect what you see. If you do want to go there, get the sesame chicken. I've not seen rats in the kitchen, or in my food. I did read two "reviews" that were obvious copy and paste too. They claimed rats and I still have yet to see them”
