Pasture & Pier Reviews
Our family stopped in twice for dinners at J. Leonard's in Blackshear recently and had a delicious dinner both times. We met the owners who were great, and our server, Anna was wonderful and very attentive to all our needs. The prime rib and crab soup were especially great and highly recommended. Anna also worked the bar for our after dinner drinks which we enjoyed tremendously along with her cheerful and pleasant demeanor. Do yourself a favor and check out this gem of a restaurant...read full review

Pasture & Pier offers a welcoming and pleasant dining experience with a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant has ample seating and is suitable for special occasions like date nights. The staff is attentive and friendly, with servers like Anna providing excellent service. Guests appreciate the helpfulness of the staff and the efficiency of the service. The menu features a variety of delicious options, including prime rib, prime rib sandwich, oysters Rockefeller, scallops over linguine, and crab soup. The prime rib and prime rib sandwich are particularly praised for their tenderness and flavor, with the sandwich described as similar to a French dip with melted cheese and delicious au jus. The seafood dishes, especially the oysters Rockefeller and scallops, are enjoyed despite some noting they can be spicy, so asking about preparation is recommended. The French onion soup has received mixed reviews; while visually appealing and flavorful, some found it too salty or too spicy. Overall, the food is considered delicious, and many guests plan to return. Prices are seen as a bit high for the environment, portions, and expectations, but the quality of food and service make up for it. Pasture & Pier is recommended for those seeking good food, attentive service, and a nice atmosphere in Blackshear.
